I'm having a moment where I hate Part II of Apprentice.

So far I have five out of twenty-three chapters written. Things keep changing; my outline keeps shifting. It's gotten to a point where I need to do major revising on Part III because of all the things I've messed with in Part II. <_<

But I really...really hate it right now. D< Like, I'm sitting here rereading Chapter 20 (the second chapter of Part II), and I'm like, "Oh god, I hate this. D< But I don't know how to fix iiiit."

I don't know what's wrong with it. I just hate it.

I even went back, reread Part I, and made edits. A couple chapters increased by a page or two as I added in more dialogue and character development (I had a couple readers, I think mainly Nick, saying some parts felt rushed compared to other parts, so I put in some filler conversations to fill the time). So, I really like Part I. Part II is just not up to par for me.

**throws a hissy fit** D<

So I stayed up all night messing with it, and I've gone from completely hating Chapter 20 to liking it a lot. 8D Yeah, the chapter is now all like, "CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT GOES HERE. I'm giving you lots of information about characters that doesn't explicitly tell you anything. What does it mean? LOL I DUNNO MAKE YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS"

It's not actually "LOL I DUNNO" because I do know. I'm just not saying. >.> Right now. But with all the hints I drop, it's possible to guess and come very close to having a complete picture.

So, yeah. Happy Cara. I'd stay up later and revise the next chapters if I could, but I'm pretty tired, and I'm trying to not become nocturnal. <_<
