I walked on the disgusting city streets of new york. The people of this city just all hate each other. Its like a battle zone of wills. As I turn the corner to take the shortcut back home, a tall guy attempts to mug me. His mistake. But now hes dead, thanks to the fire, and there is nothing to do about it. This is the 5th person I've killed. Every time I kill someone, I feel as though a part of me has died. It has, in a way. I go to the top of the building where the executives meet. As i lay on my back, I see some thing blue out of the corner of my eye. It was flying towards me. The fire erupted around me and engulfed the blue streak. A young woman slowly floated towards me from the building next to the one i was on. I got up, making the fire go at her. She yells at me, something about my name. She dodges the fire, and something green comes from her foot. It hit my shoulder. As it did, I heard a small crack. I was down. She glared at me with peircing green eyes. I looked away. " your name is Claude Ignis." She said to me. "Who the hell are you?! And what did you do to me?!" I yelled back. "Broke your shoulder. I thought it was obvious." Ignorant b***h. "You will come with us." As she said this, a man who looked her age appeared behind me. Startled, the fire went at him. He dodged it, at said to the girl, "lets just go. He won't listen to us now." as they walked away, he said," meet us at mcdonalds in 2 months, and think about your actions and the consequences."
"WAIT." I said to him.He turned to me, saying" what now? I'm hungry. Make it quick."
"why can you do what I do?"
"well....I just CAN."
"Don't play ga-"
"its becuase i'm a wraith, just like you kiddo." I found the kiddo unneccisary. they looked about the same age as me.
"wraith? what is that?"
"you'll find out after you come with us in 2 months."
