"Nishino, why are you here?" Mikoto ask with a troubled tone.
"What I can't go around the city with my sister? Besides father asked me to." Nishino replied.
"Father, what is that man thinking sending you alone?" Mikoto pondered. While on the roof of a building in front of them mercenaries were plotting to collect their ransom, with no knowledge of who the would come face to face

"Those are the heirs of this village if we kidnap them we can demand an even bigger ransom."
"Alright, but that guy they're with gives me the chills. It's like I know him from somewhere you know. Like someone we shouldn't mess with."
"You're thinking too much plus he doesn't look very strong. Wait, where'd he go?" The mercenary said surprised.
Suddenly from behind them Roxas spoke "You guys are talking way too loud especially when planning something like that."
"Who are you?" ask the mercenary with a feeling of defeat.
"What my reputation is already forgotten? I'm Ninja a founding member of The Ledge." Roxas said politely.
"Oh, ********. We're sorry we won't do anything like this again we'll leave those two alone. We promise." The mercenaries tried to apologize.
"You'd better or I'll hunt you down and kill you, got it?" Roxas said to protect the two princesses.
"Yeah" and the two of them ran off scared to death just because they ran into a member of that organization.
Sike Still completely wounded met up with Aumedic. "Holy s**t Sike!" Aumedic blurted out. Aumedic rushed to help Sike. "What Happened?" Aumedic asked, while placing his sword next to Sike and got his medical pack out. Sike said nothing as Aumedic patched him up. Aumedic started packing up again, after finishing Sike's wounds. Sike grabbed Aumedic's sword, stood up, and stabbed Aumedic through the throat. Altear came from behind to stab Sike in the back, but Sike quickly spun, grabbed his scythe, and made contact to Altear's double-edged stiletto. Altear pushed Sike's scythe back and rushed in to attack. Sike raised his hand to Altear's face and Altear was held up by a ghost cross.
"Crucifixion," Sike whispered to Altear. Sike raised his scythe and began to slice open Altear from head to toe.
"Where did Roxas go?" Mikoto wondered.
"Huh? He's right behind us a few paces back. It looks like he's keeping an eye out for trouble." Nishino had kept an eye on him most of the time.
"What a nice gesture. So what should we do, since we're alone with a single guy?" Mikoto tried to seem innocent but still was quite interested in trying something on Roxas.
"Let's cosplay and do all sorts of ecchi stuff." Nishino schemed.
"Ecchi you say? Wait what's wrong with you? Although cosplay would be fun." Mikoto had to agree that she liked the plan.
"Wait, I know! Let's take him to the hot springs; it looks like he hasn't relaxed in awhile." Nishino said as she remembered almost every detail of Roxas since she met him.
As Roxas walked up Mikoto said, "Ya, alright! Roxas we're taking you to the hot springs so you can relax."
"That sounds great. Dammit at a hot spring with two girls this is going to be a challenge." Roxas was quite uneasy. They finally arrived at their destination despite Roxas' mental unwillingness.

"Welcome, welcome. Let me see if there is a room for three."

"Two rooms side by side will be fine."

"Roxas come on it's much cheaper to have only one."

"A room for two girls and a guy you say. There is one available but it only has accommodations for one will that be alright?"

"Yeah that should be fine. We can always share a bed."

"What?"

"Boy, you better not make a mess, you alone in a room with two teenage girls what would your parents think?"

"Are we paying for this criticism or is it extra and what do you care we are paying customers."

"Alright but there had better not be any complaints for you three while you're here got it? As a precaution I'll need your weapons if you please."

"Fine although I am a gentleman and their bodyguard so I don't see what you're all worked up about" he says as he hands over his two swords.

"Good now empty your pockets and remove your coat." Instead of just having the two swords he had: ninja tools, a chain scythe, flash bombs, explosive tags, invisible wire, a pair of claws, bracers, grieves, climbing equipment, and two custom Remington revolvers.

"That can't possibly be all? Take off your gloves and boots."

"Is all of this really necessary? He is our bodyguard."

"Even more so he needs to be unarmed." Roxas did as instructed removing two more butterfly knives from his boots.

"What sorta bodyguard has this much crap?"

"A very precautious and prepared one. Now which way to the room?"

"It's down the hall third on the left."

Later in the room, "I guess I'll sleep on the floor and you two can have the bed." "Oh look the bed is large enough for all of us so that won't be necessary. Sister we should go to the bath before it closes." Nishino said excitedly.

"Alright then I might as well go so I can at least do my duty."

"Okay but no peeking." Mikoto warned.

"Come on, come on sister I've been waiting all day for this."

"Ah man this sucks I would love to be able to see the two of them on the other side of this barrier but I don't want to expose myself by using those eyes. I mean I can hear what they're talking about."

"Nishino, how come yours are so much bigger than mine?"

"I don't know. Wait why are you rubbing them? Ah!!!"

"Man this is great stuff. It's a good thing this hole is here."

"What the ******** do you think you are you doing spying on my clients?"

"Clients, what are you some sorta errand boy?"

"No, I'm of the Ledge and the bodyguard of those lovely ladies. So do you want to stop what you're doing? The last guy I caught got several broken ribs and severe internal bleeding."

"Oh s**t, ahem, well then, umm, I guess I can just relax here with you my friend."

"Cover the hole and destroy the contents of that hidden camera."

"Or what?"

"You won't live to see tomorrow."

"I'm outta here you're a freakin' psychopath. I'm getting the cops."

"A psychopath perhaps but I haven't done anything yet and you should know they gave up ..ling us long ago." Roxas says as the perv stormed off to the owner.

"Hey lady, you own this joint right 'cause you might have a problem with the guy that came today?"

"Oh really, I warned him. What kind of problem?"

"He said he was part of that organization."

"You can't possible believe that can you? Look at him, he wouldn't last a day in those ranks. He's pulling your leg, although he did have a lot of equipment, but if he is don't tell anyone else or I'll be ruined. And if that happens I'll have your head for compensation."

"I'll show this guy for making a fool of me."

"You again come back for another show?"

"No, I'm gonna show you what happens when you mess with me."

"Miss Mikoto, Miss Nishino if you're still out there now would be a good time to go back in along with any other women out there."

"Okay, see you back at the room. Come on Nishino."

"Aw, I want to find out what happens."

"If you are Ledge what's your name?"

"Ninja the strategist."

"You can't possible be him. He can kill anyone using his mastery of assassination, manipulate his bones, and is said to have weird eyes."

"See my hand? I'll make it a claw using the bones within it and look at my eyes, Kansatsugan."

"Your hand those eyes?"

"Could this wait for tomorrow? Those two were kind enough to treat me to this and I don't want to seem ungrateful by kicking your a** when I'm supposed to be relaxing."

"Wow I heard you were lazy but nothing like this. Wait, kick my a**?"

"So how do you want to die?"

"Try and kill me I doubt you'll even find me again."

"So you're that confident so do as you like to prepare I'll be right here. Start whenever you're ready."
"Alright here I come he won't be able to do anything he's dead." There was an explosion to take away sight, hearing, and smell. Roxas just sat there and waited for an attack.

"What was that sound? An explosion? From the hot springs? Dammit he's causin' trouble isn't he? What the HELL are you doing out here! Causing trouble?"

"Me cause trouble no. It's that sick pervert that's doing this."

"Oh really then where is he?"

"Right behind you with a pipe."

"What? A pipe?" as he barely misses her head aiming for Roxas. "b*****d! Then you have my permission to knock some sense into him."

"Thanks but he went back to hiding in the steam and smoke."

Because Roxas didn't want to make too much of a commotion he was having difficulty in tracking down that pervert. After awhile of being hit randomly by a pipe Roxas finally caught the b*****d, tied him up, and threw him over the barrier saying, "This guy has been spying for awhile I only caught him so he could be brought to justice."

"What, how much did you see?" The next morning that guy was tied to a stake with a sign reading, "To all those perverts that are caught in this hot spring shall be severly punished like this a*****e hanging here! You ******** have been warned!"

After a while of wondering aimlessly they went to Tomoe's house to get Osirix. The plan was to have Osirix help to stop Sike from his plan, so in other words, it was a coup within a coup. Osirix noticed that there was someone near and to the offensive. Roxas told Mikoto to hide inside because he had not seen Osirix with that double-edged sword before and saw there was a price to using it. With ever swing made it damaged the wielder. It was a physical interpretation of his relationship with Tomoe.

"Osirix it's time to start."
"I told you I don't want to be one of you anymore!" Osirix was angry that Roxas showed up
"You can't leave until after the task is done otherwise you'll be dead within the week." Roxas had to warn Osirix.
"I'm not here because of the organization, but for Sike. He's planning something big and not telling us." Osirix wasn't listening and started to attack cutting himself with every swing as the girls watched from inside. Something strange happened the more Osirix was bleeding the more the blood acted on its own until it was manipulated into blades and used them against Roxas. All Roxas could do is dodge, even though he was well armed, all he came for was Osirix. Finally Roxas got fed up with dodging and seeing Osirix injuring himself so he drew his sword. As Roxas made his counter-attack something unexpected happened, Tomoe got in the way of the slash. It was hard to tell Roxas didn't hit her it was most likely Osirix, because the sword Roxas drew was a sakabatto.

Mikoto came out and said "I tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen." Osirix caught her before she hit the ground, but it was too late to do anything. He laid her on the ground and his energy changed.
"Mikoto take her back inside and keep an eye on Kimmy, because this is just going to get worse." Osirix was no longer making random movements he was calming down. Osirix then released his sword the blade disappeared; now with every swing, anything in front of it was destroyed. Osirix was serious he was now trying really to kill Roxas. Roxas was now barely able to avoid his attacks and eventually hit on his left arm, when it had all the bone in his arm were broken. At the moment Osirix was finally going to win, Sike showed up and blocked his sword.
"Stand back Roxas you're in the way." Sike said with disappointment in his voice.
"Uh, thanks for guarding me, but this is my fight. And why are you here anyways?" Roxas said calmly to his friend.
"It's all according to plan. And what are you talking about you only have one arm?" Sike grinned.
"That never stopped me before" as he reassured Sike, he turned all of his broken bones into a sword and thought to himself "according to plan."
"Suit yourself, but if you get in the way I ain't holding back even for you." This one on one fight turned into a three way. The only thing that could be seen was flashes of light from their blades coming into contact with each other. The fight continued for awhile until Sike got fed up. He pulled out his S&W Model 500 and shot Osirix in the right shoulder. Osirix turned and rushed at him, but before Sike could shot again out of no where Tomoe came out and got in the way of the shot. "This is unreal. How could she have survived the slash and still have the energy to protect him?"
Sike said surprised that she cared for Osirix. "Who knows, but because of her I only have one shot left." And with that he knocked Osirix down stepped on his left arm and shot him point blank.
All Roxas could say was, "Why, the organization would have taken him back?"
The only response that Sike had was, "What organization?" and left without another word. Roxas laid his friend next to Tomoe, whose injures had been healed.
"Roxas are you alright?" Mikoto asked in a worried tone.
"Yeah I'm fine you stay here and keep an eye on her. It seems as though her injuries are bad but treatable," he cracked his arm and replaced the sword to use his arm again, "there is something you can do for me before I return to The Ledge."

"Yes what is it?"

"Can you find some bandages and wrap up my arm? I don't have the excess energy to fix. Even though it's broken it's still usable."

"Sure, I'll be right back but try not to use a broken arm."

With his arm bandaged and barely usable he hurried back, but it was too late all of them were dead.

"Damn I'm too late but who could've done this?"
There was only one person left and that was his teacher and supposed friend. "You should know the Guild can't be trusted."
"Sike!?! Why?"
"Why? I'll tell you, for years I waited to have power to save those from myself. Now I have that power but, it cost more than I had. So I killed not only my family and comrades, but my girl and her belief that I was going to put this world at peace with you and Osirix.... Now I am my fear!"
"So why'd you kill Osirix?"
"Because only the two of you can rule this place. By the way you do have feelings; do you really care for her, huh. I'm surprised you earned the trust of the princess so quickly. How could she so easily trust one of the worst criminals in the whole village?"
"Leave her out of this."
"Fine, whatever. However you ARE my student! Still I should of told you. Never let the one you love hear, see, or, speak of me for that will be the death of her. So prepare yourself for the fight you were never ready for!" Roxas held out his arm and from it removed a sword made from his very own bone. Sike took out a sword of his own, a black and red Flamberge and assumed his Fox Stance after throwing his scythe and S&W Model 500 to the side, "Those guys weren't worthy of my blade, but I trained you to stand up to it." He also sprouted blood red angel's wings. Roxas normally defensive made the first move and cut Sike twice with one swing, Sike had countered enough to cut Roxas' right arm, but he wasn't quick enough to dodge or block the attack. Roxas loosened his grip as Sike wedged his sword with his Blood Fang attack only to realize it wasn't a double blade but two separate swords.
"So you still use a twin blade style," Sike said.
"Now you are the first and probably the last to see this attack so try and dodge it okay. I was saving this for Osirix." Without another word he had pushed his swords into Sike's shoulders, all the way to his back and flung him into the air. Sike reacted with Tail Force, allowing him to create multiple images of himself, before Sike reached the ground Roxas had found the real one, had hooked his chest with his blades, and slammed him down.
Sike slowly getting up annoyed, asked, "Even with a broken arm you could do something like that. What the ******** was that?"
"That was my 'Akuma Gekijou (Demon Passion), did you like it?'"
"Not bad but your swords are broken where as I am still able to stand."
"You're right I didn't expect them to withstand that attack anyways, not the right density you know, but what a waste, this is my Soul Slayer but before I release it I wanna try something I've been saving for you" as he places the broken swords into his arm for more support. In one fluid motion Roxas had charged hitting all nine vital areas of a swordsman, sheathed the sword so quickly there was an ultrasonic blast, and finished by drawing it again with such speed it could not be seen. The path of the finishing move was clearly visible going from Sike's right hip all the way to his left shoulder but he didn't seem too affected by that last combination. "You know that was just a sakabatto that's why you're still alive plus that strength was reduced further due to my arm. What'd you think of my Furious Dragons? The nine headed dragon hits all of your vital areas at once, then the next delivers a paralyzing screech, and finally the last one should've ripped you in half had I not been holding back some. So here comes my true Soul Slayer, Chaotic balance, Ryuu Tora (two mighty rivals)." The sword without even being unsheathed transformed into a duel sided scythe with an extended katana at the opposite end. "The dragon of heaven is the sheath that contains the dragon of hell. You could probably guess which end is which."
"Why did you say chaotic balance? Isn't there something better you could of said to release your sword?"
"I say chaotic balance simply because the two dragons are fighting for control of the world. So shall we continue I'm starting to get bored with this senseless talking, but first let me take off my jacket?" The jacket hit the ground with a crash and a huge cloud of dust followed.
"What the hell?"
"Ya, I've been wearing a weighted jacket all this time and now for these wraps on my arm, it should be healed enough for this."
"Your left arm, what happened?"
"Oh that Osirix's blade did that. I finally figured out the true power of his sword and as proof I have all of these scars and now to put on something that you never saw coming." as he places a hanya mask, which resembled a skull, on.
"What's the mask for?"
"You know that Altear and I had many assassination missions so we needed to conceal our identities. I used this mask. And now for my true eyes, Kansatsugan the observing eye", he said. As Sike took to the air to deliver his Feather Blade, allowing him to control his feathers to cut down any enemy, but a familiar slash cut off one of his wings. It was Osirix's blade but the wielder was Tomoe unaffected by the sword's ability to hurt the user. All of a sudden she had cut off the other wing before either of them could even react to her appearance.
"What the ********, how is she still alive? Osirix slashed her in the back." Sike managed to pull off one last move before he fell to Tomoe's finishing attack,
"BROKEN," Sike said softly as Tomoe was slashed to pieces!
"So it's over? I never got to use my full power", as he removed the mask, "but why did she do this? She should hate me for what happened."
"She did it because out of entire Ledge you stood up for him."
"Yeah, you're probable right. It's funny you said broken"
"Why is that?"
"Well you won your bet with Osirix."
"What bet?"
"The one about her getting broken before he had his opportunity."
"Haha I almost forgot about that but know they had Kimmy."
"How do you know she is his?"
"Huh, I never thought of that."
"Now to make sure no one ever tries to remove this place I'm going outside so I can seal it from outsiders."
"One last thing before you go," as Sike reached out and placed his hand on Roxas' chest when he removed it a blood red aku was left, "there now you can tell the story to those that want to hear it."
"Evil, wait what is this?"
"It is a gift now you won't fade away after time."
"So you've given me immortality."
"No in a way, use it well. It's the power and life force of everyone that I've killed and those you are going to kill."
"Thanks, I guess. Great now I'm stuck with a curse. What a drag", and so leaving all his weapons, except his Soul Slayers, he took out a talisman and sealed The Ledge so only he could ever return. The Ledge is left as it is as a memorial to those that were killed by the traitor Sike. Stumbling down the road, due to his injuries, he makes his way towards the village gates. Roxas was leaving to get away from what had just happened. He was just about to leave when they stopped him. It was the princesses, Mikoto and Nishino.
"What happened to you?" Mikoto asked.

"Where are you going?" Nishino asked confused.
"I need some time to get over what just happened. When I went back they were all dead. I wasn't fast enough to help any of them. So I'm leaving for awhile to clear my mind."
"You don't need to go anywhere as long as there is someone here that can comfort you," Nishino said.
"No one can help me now this just needs to take time."
"Please don't go", Mikoto said with tears in her eyes.
"Look at what you did. You made sister cry" as tears started to fill Nishino's eye as well.
"I must, there really isn't anything left for me here" he said this as he was about to leave. Then he noticed some thing was holding him back she had grabbed him around the waist from behind still crying.
"Please don't go. Nothing left, but you have me and her."
"Sister, so I was right."
"Quiet Nishino."
So with her still holding on to him, he turned around put his arms around her and said, "You're right I do have you but I have to do this so I don't hurt you while I'm like this. I promise I will return but I don't know how long that will be, so take this." He took out a bracelet and placed it around her wrist then he bit his thumb and let one drop of blood to touch the gem on it.
"What is this for?" she asked.
"This will allow you to see where I am anywhere in the world all you need to do is hold the gem close to your heart. But before I go there is one last thing that I should do." Her heart is now racing the most unexpected thing is happening Roxas is kissing her. She is so overwhelmed that she had not noticed she had let go until he said, "I will return but my first method of travel is one that only beings of darkness can use", as he said this a door from the shadows appeared. As he was walking toward it Nishino had now grabbed onto his arm.

"You had better not be gone to long or I'll scold you first thing you get back. Okay?" She said smiling with teary eyes.

"Alright, Nishino like I said I promise I will return and remember just hold the gem to your heart to see where I am. So long as I am still alive you will be able to see. Don't worry I'll come back," as he said this he smiled and went through the shadowy door to some unknown place only to return at some unknown time.
"Sister, are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," as she wipes the tears from her cheeks.

"Come on sister lets go back and wait for him."
"Okay."
