so i was walking down the road thinking about my friend.
he said he was going to kill himself.
so i said to him "go to church tomorow and call me if you haven't killed yourself."
so he said "psh! since when have you yourself ever gone to church?" and he hung up the phone.
he was right.
it had been a while since i'd gone to church.
and i had realised my life was feeling empty and hollow.
so i was walking and i closed my eyes (in the middle of the road) and raised my hands and said "god if your still there, give me a sign. anything!" and when i opened my eyes (still walking) i watched my feet just keep in pace going in the same direction.
so i stopped.
and thought
and thought.
and then i turnned around.
and when i did, i saw it.
a old 1980 (my fav year) scrached up penny in the middle of the road.
it was on heads.
and next to good old Abe was the inscription 'In God We Trust'
