"Ja alskj;ldsa slogns neape?"
What?

The first thing I noticed was that my wings, back, arms, face and legs were throbbing, which sadly meant that I wasn't dead. The next thing I noticed was that someone was talking to me.
"Dslkajshglds seiuxlk kebwla."
But what the heck were they saying?

"Salkjihn sldiu slkajglcx ksla."
I slowly opened my eyes, my head immediately starting to throb from the blinding lights stationed throughout the room. I groaned, my body aching all over as my mind started to fully awaken. I had no clue where I was at all. The last thing I remember was seeing Rynu...

I groaned again, attempting to roll over, but was stopped by an odd fuzzy feeling on my arm. I turned to look over and found a strange creature staring back at me.
"Da kjlh satasne?" he said, then smiled.
He was covered in white fur, and had two long ears sticking out from the top of his head. Of course I had no clue what he was saying, but he seemed nice enough, so I layed back down and tried to relax enough to fall back asleep.
It didn't work.
The lights were too bright, and they gave me too big of a headache. I slowly turned my head to look back at the boy with squinting eyes.
"It's too bright. I can't rest, and my head hurts," I told him in a raspy voice. He stared at me, confused, so I stared up at the ceiling for as long as I could, then looked at him and covered my eyes.
"Too bright," I repeated, my throat burning too much to say more.
"Ohhh," He said, seeming to understand. He stood up and walked over to a wall and pressed a plastic lever down. Immediately the lights overhead went out, and I jumped, but my headache went away. I bowed my head at him once to thank him and slowly slipped off into sleep.

When I awoke next, everything felt better. My shoulder muscles were actually feeling a lot stronger. I leaned back against the pillows and sighed. It was the very early hours of the morning, and everything was quiet and still. The boy from before was slumped over in a chair, sleeping. I smiled, closed my eyes, and took in a deep breath.
...something was off.
I took in another breath, trying to identify what was missing in the air. Obviously it still had oxygen and nitrogen, otherwise I woudn't be living, but that fresh, sweet smell from my planet was gon. I sat up, trying to remember if I could live for long periods of time without...whatever that gas was.
After a while I gave up. If I wasn't dead by now, it probably didn't matter that much anyways. The abscence of that smell was disturbing now that I knew it was gone, though. But there was nothing I could do about it. So I layed there for a while longer, just thinking and watching the sun rise from out the window. It was a few hours later when the boy finally woke. He streched and yawned, then looked at me and smiled. He said something, and it sounded kind so I smiled back at him.
It'd be a while before we could understand each other. And that was the most frustrating time of my life.
