Dyer's Eve: Into Chaos
Kage had remained on his hands and knees staring lifelessly down at the ground beneath him. His long white hair hanging evenly down past both sides of his head. The edges of each piece of his armor gave off smoke as power dispersions crackled from the twenty-one year olds body. He was a blank slate, he could feel nothing in his heart. The anger and betrayal he felt minutes ago had faded to nothing. Kage was getting the first taste of what immortality would be like.

Alexandra turned and began to walk away. The hundreds of undead soldiers she had conjured faded away in shadows and dust. Marcus fell to his chest and rolled over to his back. The chains clinging tightly to his body. Their cold grasp was a harsh welcome to his servitude.

"...You killed my Mother...My Father...My Sister...And destroyed my home..." Kage's voice spoke out of the silence in a slow deep dark tone. The sorceress stopped in place. She didn't turn around too look at him. "...You stripped me of the memories...Filled my head with lies...and now..." Through all this his voice had slowly changed and was now filled with anger and sadness, something he had never let out before. "...You have taken away my humanity..." With that his voice began to sound more menacing and heartless. "...and granted me limitless power..." His eyes had began to glow like fire as they did when Alexandra was placing the curse on him. Knowing what it would mean to let the emotions flow freely, Kage was forcing them to the surface. Feeling the rush of power flowing through him, he slowly stood to his feet.

Alexandra turned to face him only too see him staring at her with his head tilted to one side, eyes brightly burning like the flames of hell and an insane smile on his face. The sight surprised her for that brief moment. "...Zarathos...The right hand of chaos...Was your gift to me..." Kage said with a demented chuckle. Beneath his flaming eyes tears of blood flowing from his sockets. His black armor began to glow blood red in some areas as he gave off a dark aura. Marcus had began to sit up and stare in awe at what was happening. As a pair of black wings made of bone burst from the back of his armor, the chains that binded Marcus turned a deep purple and felt more loose around him. The viking man looked at each of the bands and then back to Kage.

In the blink of an eye he flew at her lashing out with a barrage of attacks. She quickly jumped back moving backwards in pace with him struggling to defend herself from the demon. Kage grabbed her by the neck in a split second and slung her over his head and slammed her against the ground behind him. Keeping his other hand raised in a fist, flames built up around his hand as it charged with energy. Her eyes widened when they spotted the fist and she quickly brought up both feet kicking Kage in the head knocking her off of him. The sorceress flipped to her feet as Kage staggered back a few steps and faced her. She thrust her hand at him unleashing a massive amount of lighting at the demon. He stood firmly as the lightning seemed to avoid him as he slowly walked towards her. Alexandra felt a brief moment of panic seeing her attack do nothing to the young man she had trained. He lashed out with a ball of energy thrust from his hand as he approached. The sorceress deflected it and the two quickly traded more similar attacks back and forth.

With another effort Kage sent a powerful attack at Alexandra. He thrust both hands forward held shoulder width apart and his fists were held vertically so that if he opened his hands the palms would be facing each other. The motion sent a huge skull made of energy that hit the sorceress directly sending her crashing backwards carving a line in the ground as she slid. "What's the matter mother?...Have you grown weak?..." Kage said as he approached her, his voice sounded as if two of him were speaking, one in a deep broken whisper and the other his regular low voice. She slowly rolled onto her stomach and glared at him. The skies above them began to flash with lightning and all of the clouds slowly swirled as the sky darkened. "And now...one final effort to stay alive?" Kage said looking to the skies as he drew his sword from its sheath with his right hand. The large blade of the great weapon shined in the flashes of lightning. Kage's eyes made their way back to the sorceress who was struggling to her feet. "You'll not be the death of me." She said in defiance of his intent. He smiled and lunged at her slashing with his sword. As the blade cut through the air on its way to her a bolt of lightning struck the weapon. The shock cause Kage to miss with his attack. His sword passing in front of Alexandra and striking the stone walkway bellow. The sorceress took the opportunity and drew out the bladed fan she had hidden in her sleeve and in the same motion opened them and swung them at Kage's right arm. Kage had looked back up just in time to see the attack coming but couldn't avoid it. She severed his right arm just bellow the shoulder. It fell to the ground, the hand still holding the sword firmly as Kage let out a cry of pain.

He grasped at the injury and glared at the sorceress. She spun away, twirling the fans as she went and stopped facing hims with the fans crossed in front of her. "I've taken enough from you...good bye Kage." She said mockingly to him. At that the flashes of lightning grew more rapped as bolts came crashing down and remained connected to the the ground all around the castle and on some parts of it. The wind picked up as if they were surrounded by a group of tornado's. Everything flashed brightly and was suddenly silenced as their surroundings returned to normal. Alexandra had vanished during the storm, taking with her much of the contents held within the castle. The only things remaining on the castle grounds was the stone of the castle itself and the two remaining warriors personal belongings in they had stocked away.

Marcus looked around in a panic trying to find her and jumping to his feet. He quickly grabbed his axe and ran over to Kage. The white haired man had returned to his normal state and was bent over clutching at his shoulder. "...Get my arm...I can re-attach it..." He said has he began to walk back towards the castle. Marcus did so holding the severed arm at the elbow. It still held the sword as he caught up with Kage and the two entered the castle through the still destroyed from doorway.
