A most common word is the word the. Do you ever think how oftenyou use that word. Whenever you introduce something its always...the ___. This is THE diary of Ann(ie)...i love THE comic of Foxtrot.....THE food was good. It is definately a common word, and it contains the most used letter, 'e'. you rarely make a sentance and and don't use the letter 'e' in it. There's even a puzzle around its usage....but yeah...commons in the english language.
