What's the hardest part about looking for a new job?
The part where they lie and say you are hired, but when you call back to find out when to start they say they hired someone else after all. subtext being, but we didn't have the guts to tell you after you invested in work clothes, started planning your move etc. so we didn't call.

The worst for me is the waiting after the interview. They say they'll call me in the next three days, but don't call them. So I wait and wait and wait by the phone, and a week passes, and finally I call them, and "Oh gosh, we never heard from you, so we hired someone else." But they said not to call them! Grrrr!
