...............Soon that familiar voice answered the phone, the hidden concern revealing only slightly. "What are you doing up Babe? You have school tomorrow."
...............She let out a weak chuckle, shaking her head and speaking softly when she finally realized that he couldn't see her movements. "I'm sorry Dear..."
...............He replied quicker then normal once his ears caught the sound of pain in her voice. "Why are you apologizing? Are you alright?"
In a way she laughed, was she alright?
............... "I needed to say good-bye to you at least... I am sorry for lying..."
........ "Good-bye...? What do you mean Hun? What did you lie about?"
...............Her vision began to blur to the point of almost gone now, her head spinning as the sweet bitter scent overthrone and filled her nostrils. "The blade called for me and I answered, but I didn't tell you. I continued to answer its call and now it is too late... I'm sorry.."
...............A gasp escaped his throat, quiet to the point that it was almost hidden. "Babe? What did you do?"
...............She shook her head, it was funny how hard it was to believe the truth. "I'm not going to make it, I made sure of that. But I needed to say good-bye... Also... I needed to tell you that I loved you..."
...............There was silence for a few moments, the sense of shock in the air. "Sweet-..."
...............She cut him off then, letting out a laugh as tears streamed down her already stained cheeks once more, the sobbing laughter clear enough for him to hear. "No, let me enjoy my last moment, please..."
...............The worry in his voice increased as he realized she was speaking the truth. "I'll be at your front door as soon as I can."
...............She spoke her address slowly, in her heart she knew he wouldn't appear. "I won't make it to see you... I am sorry you weren't able to kill me yourself..." She heard shuffling then, as if he was running around in a search.
............... "I wasn't going to kill you, I wouldn't be able too..."
...............She smiled and sighed softly, hoping that he could see that expression of happiness on her face. "Thank you Dear, thank you... Good-bye Sweetie, I don't know how much longer I can make it..."
...............He whispered soothingly to her, the sound of a car starting in the background was all she heard for a moment of silence. "Hold on Sweetheart, I'll be there as soon as I can..."
...............She looked down to her wrist, the old blood beginning to dry around her arm, new rivers running over them as the vein continued to trail out her system's only hope. It would be too long now before she was immobile at the point of death. "I love you Deary..."
...............He smiled then and even she could feel it as he whispered in return to her. "I love you too Sweetheart..."
...............She sighed softly, her form going limp as she leaned her body against the bad. "Good-bye my Beloved..." Her eyes closed, the phone slipping from her grasp and falling to the floor next to her legs. She was still breathing as she heard the calls of her name from his frantic voice. She couldn't move her body even when he voice became louder, calling out to her. She opened her mouth, but she couldn't speak, her voice had left her. She felt her life slip from her slowly as the time past by. She mentally reached out to herself, trying to stay alive long enough to see her love, atleast once. She slowly closed her eyes, hoping that she could keep her hold as the crimson comtinued to slide down her arm like snakes while her mind threatened to slip into oblivion.

...............He quickly glanced to the address as he pulled up to the house, rushing as he slipped out of his car, and slammed the car door shut. He splashed through old rain puddles that refused to dry up just yet, running with a quickening speed up the porch stairs. He pounded on the front door till his fists turned pink with frustration. He smiled for only a moment as he was able to turn the knob and open it with a slight push. His eyes adjusted to the darkened room as he saw glowing light from under a door on his left. His voice was soft as he called out to his love, hoping it was her and that she was still alive. He stood infront of the unfamiliar door, his hand slipping to the knob. He took a deep breath as he pushed open the door, a strange sense of fear enveloping his body. His eyes went wide andhe gasped once he caught the sight that was place infront of him. Her body had slipped from leaning on the bed to sprawled out on the floor, blood surrounding her body on the left side. Her head was tilted and her arm was bent at the elbow, raised up to the point of where her head almost touched her fingertips. Her legs were bent like she was in the middle of a heavy run. Her other arms was reaching up to her barely pulsing wrist, where what blood was left in her system still seeped from the main two wounds and other scattered about her arm, most of them stopped from the drying blood. He quickly ran to his love, dropping to his knees and pulling her into his arms. She let out a weakened moan, her closed eyes squeezing tighter as she winced. He gasped, not even trying to fathom how she was still alive. She fluttered her eyes awake, only able to open then half-way, yet with her blurry vision she still knew who it was. She smiled softly up to him, seeing that fresh tears began to stream down his cheeks. A hand ran through her soft hair as he tried to paint a smile on his face for her as her porcelain-like face gazed up to him in wonder. She slowly mouthed a few words as her eyelids fluttered closed. Her jagged breathing finally stopped and her heart beated steadily a few more times for coming to a stop as she lay in his arms. He squeezed her tighter in his arms, whispering back the only words he was able too before her body became limp. His heavy sobs echoing about the lonely room, holding he beloved in his arms, wishing for the only thing he couldn't have as his own words circled around them in a lost romantic dance.
"I love you too Rei..."
