Once there was a little boy named Davey, who had many dreams of becoming a professional football player. He had to keep up his grades to get his scholarship. His best friend Larry offered him a joint of marijuana. Davey wanted to say no, he really did. But this was his best friend, he didn't want to disappoint him. So he accepted the invitation and smoked it. Right away he was hooked on the drug. Larry hooked Davey up with his Dad who happened to be the neighborhood druglord. He made a deal with John, Larry's Dad. That if he sold weed to kids around the neighborhood for him, that he'd get the substance he needed for half the amount he usually sold it for. Davey sold many pounds to kids, even his old friends. He even introduced it to his younger brother. Devoting all his time and effort to selling and buying weed. His grades deteriorated, having pretty close to straight Effs all year long got him nowhere. They said he'd have to repeat the year, but he grew frustrated and threw down the books. Davey dropped out of high school. He more and more became attached to the drug forgetting who he was. And who he wanted to be. Two years later sixteen year old Davey was found in a dumpster, shot three times. Twice in the chest, once in the head. It is a mystery of how he got there or even who pulled the trigger.
This came to mind when I read a message in the bottle I received in my tank that said "Tell me a story" was too long to reply so I put it here :3
