My shopping list
I'll be writing about the items I want to get, and strategies to get them.
Here's the Nonai maker for my full name (first name + surname) written in general Latin (western) letters found on a standard keyboard.

outermost (light pink) - "Mystery"
white- "Rest"
blue- "Friends"
yellow (center)- "Play"

also, I have no idea where to find the love compatibility one. My sister found it, since people like to put in anime characters. There's videos on youtube of those. XD

Uhm... is that supposed to represent things I think about, or the way I am?

If it stands for things I think about, it's OK, I guess... Although, I'm not really sure what mysteries I have on my mind at the moment. If it's the way I am...

I come off as mysterious, but people who get to know me better realize I'm just lazy and like to rest. After a while they might notice I'm a good (?) friend, but most of all, I want to play? LOL Is the blue Kanji "friend" or "friends"?

I'm pretty impressed. Do you have them all in your head, or did you look them up somewhere?

I think that it stands for... uh... the way.. you are? But wait... why would it be a "brain maker"? ... hmm.

Also, that blue kanji means "Friend" to be more specific.

well, I know the kanji for "rest" and "friend" off the top of my head, but the rest I looked up in that translation key in that description for the video that I gave you the link to. n_n

But.. lol, one of my recent new goals for the year was to learn 100 kanji. So hopefully I'll know more off the top of my head by the end of the year.

I thought so.
I know Kanji for "night", "god/spirit" and "moon", because of Death Note, Kanji for "love", because of Naruto, and Kanji for "woman" and "man", because of Ouran High School Host Club. Also for "sun/day" and "eye", because they are so simple. And that's about it.

100? Impressive! How are you going to decide which one will you learn?
Also, I have replied to your comment on my journal entry that was before this one. But not the one right before this one, but the one before that one. LOL, that didn't make sense. The entry from September 30th.

ahh, if I paid more attention to the manga and anime that I read/watched, I would probably know alot more. But I don't, because I just don't have that type of intelligence/memory/curiosity [to learn/notice]. emo My sister does, though. She's always saying stuff like, "Oh, that's the kanji from [insert anime character's name], remember?" I'm like, "Er, I hardly ever notice, much less remember, the kanji from characters' names." Except from Tohru-kun's last name. I was surprised to realize that it was the "Hon" from "Nihon" and the "hon" meaning book.

well, I have old Japanese textbooks from high school and Japanese 101 and 102. So technically, I should know more than 100 kanji, but I have forgotten them all by now, so it's almost like starting from scratch. I'm trying to master the definition, readings, and stroke order (by writing them) of 100 kanji, but... I've already forgotten the ones that I did learn! gonk

and ok, I'll go check now n_n

It is pretty difficult to learn, isn't it?
But... at least spoken Japanese isn't that complicated.
