My shopping list
I'll be writing about the items I want to get, and strategies to get them.
The fact that Tohru acts like total doormat toward Hiro is disgusting and offensive. If she thinks that she will help him resolve his (numerous) issues by allowing him to act that way, she's wrong. I'm slowly starting to lose respect for her. And if the author makes it so that her doormat-ness actually helps him (since she seems to be helping the Sohma family left and right), that's just a slap in the face to the whole pedagogy as a science.

mmm, it's been about 17 days since you've posted this entry... and now you're nearly done with the series! eek It's amazing how much faster reading a series is online.

oops! sorry about that. I was missing a "me" in that sentence.

LOL. Today, I watched this movie, The Breakfast Club. Haha, the hair, music, and fashion of the 80s were something else. The movie was described to be "heartwarming" and all that stuff, but.... I didn't find it heartwarming at all. All the stereotypes bothered me. And even though the apparent message of the movie was overcoming stereotypes, I found it disturbing that the ending seemed to contradict this message. stare

And to think we were born during the 80s. During 70s, male hair styles were awful but female ones were OK. During the 80s, both had hideous hair.

What stereotypes was the film supposed to overcome?
