leaves rustles in the playful wind,
dancing after it, to the sound of life,
pulsing all around them.
they're free from the bounds that tied them to the trunk.
they've gotta dance now,
before winter conquers them.
Im running amongst them,
feeling the refreshing breeze in my hair,
moving to the sound of my own heartbeat,
as if it were an inexperienced,
yet known pattern of motion for just me and the rhythm of my body.
the autumns wild wind is cooling my face,
as I follow the road in my whirling, flowing pace...
when I inhale this air and let it fill my lunges,
I feel the new time welcoming me,
not hot and uncontrollable as summer,
not freezing and black as winter...
just....
briefly cool and calming.
like spring, in a disguise of flames and sparks
exploding all around me like fireworks...
im in love with autumn...
