MGW Entry Three
As soon as Kris headed out, she saw many unidentified beings battling with other 'fellow fighters'.
"What... are... those...?” Kris said to herself, while on the screen, her 'Mecha' gave a close-up at what it seemed to be some sort of abomination “A monster?!?... No… It seems… oddly… familiar for some reason” as the question partly remained in her head, she abruptly received an S.O.S message which dismayed her momentarily.
“HELP!!!” a voice was heard as the transmission started to clutter, too quick to know from whom it came from, too blurry to see the victim who ‘cried for help’.
“What… Wait… who…?” Kris was too confused to make a correct question, or to make any question or statement at all. “I… think we should go help, try to locate where that S.O.S signal came from…” she said to her ‘Mecha’.
Since the ‘Mecha’ wasn’t used to take orders, it simply shook it’s head sideways, negating Kris’s order.
“Please… if we’re to work together, you must help me as much as I’ll try to help you…” Kris stated in somewhat a humorous manner, but knowing what she meant by ‘try’.
The ‘Mecha’ understood what she meant to say as it briefly began to locate the S.O.S.’s original source. As soon as the ‘Mecha’ found the source, an incoming message appeared in a left side screen, leaving the located source in a screen that was located in the middle.
“Huh...?”Kris said looking to the left side, watching yet another message that all of the ‘Mechas’ were bound to receive.
“Please, amateur pilots will only fire, do not attempt a close range combat, I repeat, do not attempt close range combat!” A blue haired male Commander stated in a worried manner “we don’t want to lose our new acquaintance’s…” he finished his short message.
“Hopefully… that won’t happen to us…” Kris sighed somewhat worried “Let’s go” she said trying to be more confident.
The ‘Mecha’ hovered using its Ion Boosters, carefully to the source of the S.O.S.
“Where is it? Didn’t it come from here?” she asked while looking around, using the ‘Mechas’ screens. “Wait… zoom that in…” she pointed.
The ‘Mecha’ got a closer look at what Kris had seen from afar.
“It’s somebody’s ‘Mecha’!!!...” She shouted worriedly, controlling the ‘Mecha’ through her spine, making it hover to what it seemed a ‘totaled’ ‘Mecha’. “I hope we’re not too late…”.
As the ‘Mecha’ got close to it, it stopped hovering.
“Try to scan it…” she said despondently.
The ‘Mecha’ began to scan it and in the screen, it showed various progress and statements about the ‘injured’ ‘Mecha’.
“Well, this was the one who sent that S.O.S. signal a bit ago…” she sighed losing hope, but then the scanner showed unexpectedly, that there was still life remaining inside. “Ah!” Kris shouted jovially “Don’t worry, I’ll get you out of here…”.
Out of nowhere, the scanner picked up enemy signals incoming towards them at rapid a speed, an ‘Alert!’ sign appeared in the screen.
“Huh…?” Kris tilted her head for a second then realized.
In a split second, she saw the oncoming enemy, at high-speeds. Kris took evasive maneuvers, controlling the ‘Mecha’ completely, hovering hastily to the right. She managed to elude it’s enemy close attack. Kris activated the high-speed Ion Boosters located on the ‘Mechas’ back, and as she stood still to await and evade the next attack, she saw a glimpse of her attacker.
“What is that…? Could it be…?” she asked herself as in her head, part of a flashback came. “No time to remember…” she snapped before she lost consciousness to the flashback “time to survive!” she said determined.
Kris stood still, waiting to see if her attacker would attempt its same move as before.
“What are you waiting for?!?” the girl in the ‘totaled’ ‘Mecha’ shouted through her left side screen.
“I’m waiting for a precise moment…” she answered.
“Do it already! Are you going to let me die here?!? I order you to attack!!” the angered female screamed.
The other female was distracting Kris and confusing her, defocusing her from the enemy.
“I said… wait… Who are you to order me?!?” Kris desperately yelled back, impatient hence she lost her focus.
“I am a commander! Crystal Azumiah!!!”.
“What…” Kris was interrupted by her attacker as she tried to swiftly move to the side.
Her attacker was launching close range attacks, using to what it seemed to be its hand, forming some kind of blade like weapon and striking mercilessly. Kris tried to swiftly move to evade the attack once more, but since she was defocused, the attacker managed to damage the right arm part of her ‘Mecha’.
“Gah! I have no other choice left… any close range weapon…?” Kris asked her ‘Mecha’.
“Are you crazy?!? Talking with a robot… where the hell did you come from?!? Crazy land, a Utopia?!?” Crystal Azumiah shouted madly, mockingly.
“… There it goes again… I’ll show her…” the irritated words echoed in her head as her ‘Mecha’ activated a large blade like weapon in its right arm. “Let’s see who’s the crazy one now…”.
In an instant, a heated battle between Kris and her unknown attacker clashed, engaging a furious combat scene. Sparks flew every time the two blades contacted each other, exchanging fearsome metal like sounds. Every resonance, only made Crystal Azumiah somewhat jealous, it seemed like Kris was stealing away her fun, but mostly, her spotlight.
