strangely enough, yeah. Where did this come from?
I remember when I felt like I was drowning in despair and hopelessness and I told my friend Edwin that, much to my surprise he said that if I was drowning, then he'd come and save me, because that's his job in the coast guard. I was rather taken aback, because as corny as it was, it really helped somehow. I guess.... to me, it doesn't matter how corny something sounds, if you really mean it, the feelings will get through to the other person and heal them, I'd like to think.
Or maybe that's not what this quote is referring to? But yeah, that's one of my stories.
