This is the sweetest thing ever made for me.
It was a paper written about our own personal hero, done by Lee-Ree.
"What I've been trying to become was a person that had an "I don't care" attitude to what anyone else thinks. Life would be so much easier if I could just be that type of person. I have an online friend named Marina and she has some of the characteristics I want. I've dissected her personality and have taken bits and pieces of what she is and have tried to mold that into my own being. She's had such an effect on me whether she knows it or not. I do believe that she's helped build my character and has helped me become a better person.
Marina is the type of person that will be truthful about how she is and she doesn't care how other people view her because of it. I have always wanted to be honest with myself, to just come out in the open and be who I am, and to just forget about everyone else's opinions. She has urged me to just be myself, to be completely honest about myself and to just say "oh well" to the people that don't accept me. It's because of her that I can be who I am, to come out in the open.
I love people that you can just be comfortable talking with. I met Marina through one of my other friends. I had been commenting my friend's profile, talking about how I'd stolen Marina's avatar's hair for my own, and apparently Marina had seen that comment (cuz she's a stalker) & had gone to my profile and commented me saying something along the lines of "SO I HEARD YOU STOLE MY HAIR STYLE. ;D" Right then I knew that I was going to have fun with her. Only three replies into our conversation and I already felt like I'd known her for years. She and I just immediately clicked; it was amazing. Nobody has ever made me feel that comfortable with them.
Another thing I love in a person is maturity: being smart is one thing, being mature is another. I like to think that I'm a mature person for my age, and Marina is only one year older than me but she seems like such an adult. Marina can be immature, but not in a negative way -- only when we're joking around and just be kids, what with our juvenile humour and whatnot. When I have a serious problem, she has answers for me and tries her best to look at the situation with an unbiased mind and to come up with a logical explanation to things. I love a person that can do that. I love her.".
