From the ashes of fallen love
hope is reborn;
Remorse and hatred fill the soul
but the next step leads you on;
That last lingering kiss
the subtle goodbye,
Gunshots evaporate into silence
why did that soldier have to die?
The plan of each person's fate
is left to them to decipher;
But if one cheats fate
their life will then alter;
Fate can decide when you live and die
but only human mind can make death come prematurely;
