* Ms. Prejean seems to still not understand that freedom of speech means you get to say what you like, but that this doesn't make one immune from commentary or criticism of what you say. No one is stopping her from talking, they are just exercising their right to free speech by objecting.

* Apparently the Stupak amendment prohibits Americans from buying any coverage that includes Abortion coverage even with their own private money. The insurance system is already heavily weighted against women. Must we make it worse?

* Business groups are forcefully opposing a bill to prohibit the import of goods made with slave, forced, convict, or child labour. Yes, that's right, American business organizations are openly pro-slavery as slavery is a "trivial" matter. Charming.

* On hearing that Katy Perry and Russell Brand are dating, I could only think 1. Wow, they deserve each other. 2. They are so repellent individually, I can only shudder to think how repellent they must be together.
