FROM VILLAIN TO NANNY (by Sam and Tori! =3)
*Kakuzu's p.o.v*
I grumbled to myself as we walked threw the giant metal doors. As a big gust of wind blew around us, I saw three figures down the path. One of them was our leader Pein, but the other two I had never seen before. Pein gestured for Hidan and I, so we went over to them to see what was going on. As we advanced, the unknown figures became more clear. They were kids. Great. One of them had long dark blue hair and fuzzy wolf-like ears. She definitely looked like a little idiot, but her emerald green eyes showed much more. The other seemed very shy, hiding her small cat ears and short black hair behind the other child.
"What are these kids doing here Leader-sama? They don't look like they belong here."
I glared at them. The girl in front gave me a look while the other tensed up and hid further behind her. Pein saw this and cleared his throat to get all attention on him.
"SO... Last weekend I was working out business with some executives in the leaf village,"
I saw that Hidan was giving him a why the ******** were you doing this?! sort of look and I, for once, agreed. He must have noticed though because he smirked at Hidan and added.
"If you've got a problem with anything I'm talking about Hidan, you can go shove it."
He pointed to Hidan's scythe and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Well anyways, I was in the leaf village going down the street, when this little brat right here bit my leg," he looked over to the girl with blue hair and she growled. "Both of them were together and I had to chase them down to find whoever was responsible for the little monster. Well it turns out that the parents of the two kids were trying to get rid of them, and they offered up a large sum of money for me to take them. I couldn't turn down an offer with that much money, so i decided we could do something with them here."
I put my hand up against my forehead, knowing that this had something to do with us. The blue haired girl jumped.
"...uh, I have to pee!!!!!" she whined tugging on Pein's robe. Pein twitched, looking slightly uncomfortable.
"Well I'd like to get this wrapped up, so I have decided that for now you two wil be in charge of these..." He looked down at the two kids, and saw a small puddle of yellow liquid on his shoe. This was the first time I thought Leader-sama was going to kill someone. The girl with blue hair looked up and saw his face, which looked quite disturbed, and ran over to me almost instinctively. She crawled under the bottom of my robe and hid there, shivering. The other one just sat over where she was, looking like she was about to cry. Hidan blinked, noticing her for the first time.
"Holy s**t, a CAT!" he squealed with joy as he ran over and picked her up, cradling her in his arms. I was amazed, never seeing Hidan act this way, when suddenly I realized something. The girl was climbing up my leg.I froze with fear, wondering what was going through her head at that moment. She rose up until she had reached the collar of my robe, then beginning to lose her balance on my shoulder. If I didn't catch her, she'd have hit the ground....Wait, why did I even care? Well I was looking at her, and she stared back, cocking her head like a confused puppy. I bit my lip. she actually...was....kind.....of cute. Pein cleared his throat causing me to drop said child. the cat girl froze. Hidan looked down at the now crying puppy girl. I sighed and picked her up. Pein grumbled to himself and continued.
"Ok, now why you're here. Your mission is to get these..things! as far away from me as possible! there is an orphanage in the land of snow-" "What's snow Ojiichan?" the blue hair girl asked staring at me. I looked at her.
"What's wrong with you? Do I look like your grandmother?!" I asked glaring. then the girl gets inches away from my face and starts sniffing me.
"You smell like red water and green paper" she said wrinkling up her nose. I just stared at her.
"I have no idea what this red water is that you're talking about, but i both know and love the green paper." I said smiling under my mask. the girl giggled then bit her finger she held it too me.
"Red water" she said her tears completely gone. I pulled out a kerchief from my pocket and wrapped her finger up with it, then pushed it away.
"Don't do that again okay?" I said exasperated. Pein looked at me with what I thought was a smile for a split second, then he went back to what he was saying.
"Back to what I was saying...You need to go bring them to the land of snow, leave them there, and if, and ONLY if, they become stronger in that time may you bring them back." He growled. the girl blinked and looked from Pein to me.
"Hi! I'm Sam....what's your name Ojiichan?" she asked smiling.
"...I'm Kakuzu...AND STOP CALLING ME OJIICHAN!" I growled. Sam giggled and then looked to Hidan.
"Gray hair man! that kitty is Tori" Sam yelled. Hidan looked at Tori a huge stupid grin formed on his face.
"THAT'S TOO F***KING CUTE!!!" he laughed hugging Tori tighter. Sam's ears twitched and Sam nodded.
"Oj-Kakuzu Tori wont talk" Sam said turning her gaze back to me. I nodded and turned around with Sam still in my arms. headed off Hidan followed. I looked back only once to see Pein had left. Sam stiffened.
"K-ka-ka-zu! a man is near...but...-sniff- he smells -sniff- like a plant?" Sam's ears went back. I shifted her weight and quickened my pace. I was in no mood to deal with Zetsu. Hidan was content cooing the small cat like Tori. I decided that we might as well get a room whiled we're in the leaf village go find the brats parents and find out what they like or not. We found the closest and cheapest hotel and got rooms. Sam stayed in my arms as I wrote down one of my many fake names. the clerk looked at Sam and smiled.
"What a cute daughter you have sir" he complimented. Sam's tail wagged.
"Thank you!" she yipped. My face went red.
"She-She's not my kid" I grumbled paying the money. the man nodded and he gave us the keys. I looked to Hidan who was showing Tori everything. he was acting like a girl with a new doll. Something that made him seem uglier then usual. Sam's ears and nose twitched and started squirming. I dropped her. Sam stared at me for a minute then ran out the door. I ran after her.
"Sam!!" I called chasing her. how is it that a child of her size is so fast!? Sam ran faster until she reached the end of the hall and she froze. I stopped right behind her. Sam looked up at me with tears in her eyes. then down the hall. I looked and saw a woman who looked just like Sam in every way holding a baby. I knew right from that moment we found Sam's mother. Sam ran to the woman arms out and yelled.
"Mommy!" she tried to hug her mom only to be blocked by a wolf the size of a bob-cat. the wolf bared it's fangs at Sam. Sam stopped and whimpered. I quickly walked over to her side. Sam looked at me. I wanted to smile but my mask would just hide it so i didn't bother. the woman looked at me then Sam.
"w-what is it you need sir?" she asked with a wary voice. Sam tried to go past the wolf only to get bitten. I punched the wolf sending it into the wall. Sam looked at me. The woman growled.
"What business do you have!?" she asked her fangs also bared. Sam ran over to her mother and hugged her leg.
"Mom, me and Tori want to go home!" Sam cried. the woman ignored Sam and looked at me. I stiffened.
"I only need to know of her medical record" I said coldly. the woman glanced at Sam and nodded. she shook Sam off her leg and started walking into her room. Sam tried to follow only to get the door slammed in her face. Sam started clawing at the door like and abandoned puppy. My gaze stayed on Sam as the woman handed me the papers. the wolf then grabbed Sam by her shirt and dragged her to me.
"I'll inform Victoria's family and bring you the paper when I can" she said giving one last glance at Sam then closing her the door as her wolf walked in behind her. Sam ran to the door.
"Mom! please! I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean to embarrass you!...I want to go home!" Sam cried trying to open the door. I looked down at the paper...she wasn't allergic to anything so that's good. My eyes widened as i took a look at Sam's age.
"Y-your five years old!?" I asked shocked. Sam looked up at me and nodded. her face red from tears. I knelt down and picked her up.
"Come on let's go to our room" I said picking her up. Sam started crying on my shoulder as we walked. the walk seemed so long...Sam never said a word as she finished her tears. When we got into the room Hidan and Tori were eating. I tried to place Sam down but she held onto me. I sighed and sat at the small table with them. Hidan and Tori looked up at me only to be death glared and looked back down. I grabbed a plate and filled it with rice and fish. Sam had her head on my shoulder and didn't move. I sighed.
"You need to eat" I said coldly. Sam didn't move. I twitched and placed her on my lap so she was sitting forward. she looked down at the food. I clenched my fist.
"Eat. or your body will be on the floor" I growled. Sam still just stared and Tori hissed. I glared at her.
"And you will join her" I threatened. Hidan looked up and had his hand on the edge of his scythe. I reached into my pocket. Sam started eating. my hand relaxed and I waited. Sam ate half the rice and one fish. she then turned around and leaned on me again. I twitched. Sam yawned her eyes closing. i wanted to throw her on the bed and then be down with it. but as if my body was being controlled by a force unlike this world. I let her fall asleep in my arms. i started eating with my free hand. Hidan and Tori finished. Hidan tapped my shoulder.
"Kakuzu....there are only two beds" Hidan said his eyes wide. my eyes widened.
"Then you sleep on the floor and the girls can share" I growled. Sam clutched onto me her foot kicking. I looked at her....is she having a nightmare? I thought back to when I was a boy with a dog...when my dog had a nightmare my mother would pet my dog...when I had a nightmare. she would kiss my head and run her fingers threw my hair...I twitched. Sam started crying in her sleep. I quickly started running my fingers threw her hair. Hidan looked at me.
"F**k I'm not sleeping on the damned floor!" Hidan snapped. Sam woke up. she felt her face then looked up at me. I blinked. Sam moved off my lap. she then looked at Hidan. Hidan picked her up.
"Why the f**k are you crying?" he asked. Sam whispered in his ear. Hidan's eyes widened and he hugged Sam.
"It's gonna be alright now your staying with me! Kakuzu might act like a d**k but i think if you leave him alone you'll be ok!" He said so kindly I'm starting to think he's a woman in disguise! Sam hugged Hidan and yawned. Tori was already alseep in a bed. Hidan yawned. he placed Sam down and got in bed with Tori making it so Sam had no room to sleep. Sam wagged her tail and curled into a ball on the floor. just like a puppy I thought to myself. I sighed and got into the bed on the other side of the room. I closed my eyes and relaxed until I felt something. My eyes shot open and I saw Sam curled up next to me. her eyes opened.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT!?" I asked about to lose my temper. Sam's eyes widened and she looked at me.
"I-I sleep well with you...please Kazu I-" "What did you just call me!?" I growled. Sam flinched and looked down.
"K-Kazu....it's easier to say then Kakuzu and....please let me stay for the night!" she asked tears in her eyes. I turned over.
"Fine but after tonight go sleep somewhere else!" I snapped. I closed my eyes then felt Sam shivering...I twitched then turned over again to see she was asleep. i blinked then sat up. I put a blanket on Sam to no avail. I looked and saw Hidan had Tori in his arms. I twitched doubting I could last with a child sleeping in my arms again....I sighed and pulled her close to my chest. Sam's shivering stopped and she rubbed her head against my chest. I smiled to myself and finally got some sleep.
*THE NEXT DAY!* I heard a light yawned and looked down. Sam's eyes slowly opened and she smiled at me.
"Morning" I said sitting up. Sam sat still in my arms. I heard a knock on the door. I placed Sam down and started walking over. the door slammed open and crashed into Hidan. I laughed. I froze when four wolves charged into the room. One wolf jumped onto Hidan holding him down. another jumped at me! I grabbed it by the throat. I twitch...do they really think this can defeat me? I cringed when i heard the girls scream. I turned around. the other two wolves were holding the girls down! Sam growled at the wolf upon her. Tori hissed...what should I do!? I was in a panic then decided to throw the wolf i was holding at the one that was holding Hidan down. Hidan quickly got up...only to trip and fall back down.
"YOU IDIOT!" I screamed Hidan twitched as the wolf tackled him again. I felt someone running at me and turned around. A man with blue hair and green eyes. I twitched not another family member! I sighed and jumped out of the way. the man stopped. Sam's eyes widened.
"DAD!" she screamed. The man's ears twitched he turned to Sam once then to me.
Sam had tears in her eyes as she bit on the wolfs leg. the wolf jumped back and snarled. Out of nowhere my fist launched at the wolf and broke it's jaw. I was as shocked as the others. Sam was first to recover an ran to Tori. She jumped and landed on the wolf's back and started biting into it. Tori bounced up and joined Sam. I looked to the man.
"Call off your wolf" I growled. For a split second the man smiled. he nodded and whistled. The wolves froze completely. Sam and Tori jumped off the wolf. Tori ran to Hidan....Sam ran to me stare she clutched onto my leg. I twitched...why?
"Now, before you so rudely attacked us what is it that you want?" I asked harshly. I looked down to see Sam bare her fangs at her Father. I gently placed my hand on her head.
"enough" I said coldly. Sam flinched and stopped. I smiled to myself. Tori hissed but Hidan picked her up.
"easy you little killer" he chuckled. Tori purred but still glared at Sam's father. I rolled my eyes. The man cleared his throat.
"I am sorry, well when I heard from my wife that a strange man came with the scent of money and blood...you can imagine that I would want to see if you were a threat to my family" he said looking at Sam...he seemed in pain. Sam's tail hit my leg. I looked to see a wolf about to strike Hidan.
"Hidan! throw me Tori!" I quickly yelled. Hidan looked behind and quickly tossed her to me....I caught her by the tail. Tori hissed and scratched my hand. I dropped her.
"ungrateful brat" I growled. Sam whimpered and helped tori stand up.
"uh...Kazu didn't mean it Tori-chan" Sam said hugging her friend. I twitched. the wolf ran back to it's master. The man smiled at Sam then quickly looked to me.
"I see now it was my own fears. I'm sorry for the trouble I caused" he said. he bowed and then with the last of the wolves following him left. I sighed. Sam looked up at me.
"Ka-" "Don't talk, you brats are more trouble then your worth" I growled. Sam's eyes widened. Hidan picked her up.
"Don't say that S**t" he growled hugging Sam.
"WHY ARE YOU SUCH A B***H?!" I asked. Hidan glared at me.
"Come on kids lets leave the d**k to himself, I got a free pass to the hot tub" he said. Sam and Tori's tails wagged as they ran out the door. I twitched, why do I feel so alone? Sam's face flashed in my head...she looked so....hurt. my stomach felt like one big knot. Why did I yell at her? I...wait! why do I even feel bad?
"I'm getting in too deep, it's only been one night..." I muttered to myself. I sat on my bed. my head in my hands. Why can't this be easy? Why can't we just drop these damn kids off and move on?...I looked at the map.
"travel by foot would take a year!?" I twitched (note it takes long cause they're the bad guys and if people see them they will be attacked) I sighed and stood up. I guess it wouldn't hurt too relax...cause we're leaving as soon as the sun goes down...I walked out and found Hidan and the girls relaxed in the hot tub/ Hidan was in his boxers and the girls were in one piece bathing suits. I twitched...why? I noticed the bloody body on the floor. did he really have to kill them!? now we have to leave sooner! Sam's ears twitched and she looked up at me. Her eyes widened. I froze....I wont be able to get these brats out of here if they hate me! so i waved to her as nicely as I could. Sam's tail wagged as she climbed out of the hot tube.
"Is Kazu mad at me?" she asked walking slowly up to me. she stopped a few feat in front of me.
"No, no I'm not mad I was just annoyed it's fine now" I lied...well I guess it was the truth. I wasn't mad at Sam but I wasn't happy...oh well. Sam smiled and ran up to me.
"I'm glad I didn't want you to be mad at me!" I blinked.
"why would it matter if I was mad at you?" I asked. Hidan glared.
"The whole F**king time all she asked was what would make you happy with her again!" he spat flipping me off. I death glared him then looked at Sam. She was smiling at me.
"Kazu! the water is nice and warm come, come!" she said pulling on my sleeve. I sighed and followed her. she then pulled down on my sleeve.
"Up, up!" she barked. I blinked again but picked her up.
"Better?" I asked. Sam nodded and smiled.
"Kazu, I'm sorry that my family...uh...that they attacked you" Sam said her ears dropping down. I smiled threw my mask.
"It's fine don't worry" I said placing her down in the water. Sam then paddled to Hidan. Hidan picked her up.
"She can't swim that well Kakuzu" he growled. I twitched.
"Then why is the water so damn high!?" I asked annoyed. Hidan glared at me again and didn't say another word. I sat in a chair next to the hot tube not in the mood to get wet. Sam looked at me.
"Kazu! you no like warm water?" she asked. I looked to her.
"I just don't feel like getting wet" I said honestly. Sam nodded then looked at Hidan.
"No be mad Hidan Kazu is just grumpy" Sam said her ears perking up. I rolled my eyes. Hidan chuckled and hugged Sam.
"I guess if you want I'll forgive the b*****d" I punched him in the head with one hand, and caught Sam and Tori with the other. Hidan flew into wall. Sam and Tori gasped. Tori hissed at me. Sam jumping into the water after him. Sam only made it halfway (it's a big hot tub! 0.o) before she started sinking. I placed Tori down and jumped into the water.
"WHY IS IT SO DEEP!?" I asked surprise it was up to my neck! Hidan was out and at the bottom of the...I'm going to call it a pool now. Sam was diving under...she floated back up by the time i got to her.
"Sam!?" I yelled as I picked her up. Sam laid motionless in my hand as i swam over to the edge. Hidan soon joining me.
"SAM?!" Hidan gasped pushing me away from her. I glared as Hidan started working on Sam....how did he know what to do? I scowled as I saw the sign Hidan kept glancing at every few seconds. Sam started coughing and Hidan sighed. I did too without even realizing it! Hidan quickly grabbed Sam and held her in his arms. Tori was also hugging her. I blinked why did I want to hug he too? why did I want to hold her close and never let go? why is that? Sam blinked and reached out for me.
"K-Ka" she tried to say my name but started coughing. I grabbed her and held her to my chest. Sam's tail wagged. Even though it was quiet...every question in my head was answered. she was ok, she did forgive me, and she was safe now...I stood up and we headed out of the hotel. Sam curled in my arms as we walked. she started sneezing which brought me at unease.
"I'm so sorry" I whispered to her. Sam licked my hand.
"It's ok, Kazu" she whispered in my arms. i sighed and started petting Sam with the back of my hand.
'too deep, too deep' i thought to myself. Sam rubbed her head against my chest and closed her eyes. Hidan poked me with the back of his scythe.
"let me see her" he growled. I death glared him.
"no, Kazu...." Sam moaned in my chest. I passed Sam to Hidan.
"Take her" I said coldly. Sam's eyes widened and she clutched onto my arm.
"Kazu...." she begged. I started trying to shake her off.
"Go with Hidan" I growled. Sam's eyes watered a bit but she went with Hidan. Hidan smiled and kissed her head. I was a little sickened by how he kissed her head freely. Sam in returned licked Hidan's cheek.
