MANNY, "PACMAN", PAQUIAO
: THE PRIDE OF THE PHILIPPINES, PAMBANSANG KAMAO!November 14th marks the date of another great win by Manny Paquiao. We've seen him beat up De la Hoya, knockout Hatton in the 2nd ROUND, and now beat up Cotto so bad, Cotto's wife and kid left the arena. That's how good our man is (:
But I have to say, in the first 3 rounds, I was pretty scared for Paquiao. He was getting punched in the body, in the head, and in the face. I was really nervous for him. But when Manny punched him down in the 3rd round, I knew it was our fight buddy ;D And again in the 4th round, it was a good feeling. By the tenth round, Manny had already given Cotto cuts to the eyes and perhaps a broken nose =P And seeing Cotto's wife reaction, priceless xD I thought Cotto was gonna stop by the 11th round, cuz Manny was just using him as target practice at this point. But the fight ended 55 seconds into the 12th round when Cotto's dad asked to stop the fight, right when Manny had him cornered.
When we knew Manny had won, aw man! All the people in the living room were clapping our hardest and saluting Manny with words of congrats. Manny definitely deserved it (:
But I gotta give some props to Cotto. Although he lost, he was a good sport about it. And that's what being a fighter is all about. (:
But at the end of the day, only one rises as victorious. And that would be..
