i met someone like you once
like you in ways
how i do wonder
what a world of pain, life like a maze

you try and try to find thee end
you might just break before you bend
you might fall before you can fly
but might you find hope in the moonlit sky

show me your wounded heart sweet child
let me see what this hell has done
let me take you far from here
where pain & suffering disappear

no need to sign in blood
and you can save your tears
dont trade away your soul
for no evil can reach you here

no tricks, no lies, no reason to doubt
there are few who believe
few who know how we live
in a world so dark and slowly dying

our tears are the same as the rain
we feel the same suffering, the same pain
but we still keep hoping, keep giving, all tht we can
if only ppl cud see, there is no master plan

there is only what we believe
but do we ever take the time
to believe in ourselves, to believe we can make it
before this darkness drowns our hearts in hatred

life is like a maze, you come to a dead end
but is it your choice, to make your own path
why fallow the path made for us to fallow
why give in to the pain in wich we wallow

why hesitate to take the hand
wich offers us a chance to live
to give us hope, to give us dreams
to change this life wich seems so dark

we try to give good reasons
to give friendship, to give trust
but so many lose their way
to find greed, take life & give in to lust

but do we take any chance we get
to get out of this darkness
and not dare ever let ourselves fall back in
just hold on to any reason you have...

to stay alive, to be alive
and know, you shall not suffer nomore
and if ever you do, you shall not be alone
