Arggh..thats all I can think to say. I have just been watching a smart anime cartoon and although I love watching them I can't help but feel sad afterwards. To me reality is boring and not enough, I wish I could live the life of those imaginary characters. I wish I had magically powers or could fight really well or both and protect people. I even like the idea of just being rescued but I would prefer to beable to carry my own, i'm not a weakling. It would be amazing to fly without manmade aid, oh I don't know i'm just rambling now but why else would people imagine and create animations like they do. It's because most people dream of something more, something better. I mean thats why you get people who dream of meeting aliens, they want to know thats theres more to life than what seems to be on offer at the moment. In the past we belived in magic and witches flying through the air, though it got a bad press but maybe it was just people trying to be diffrent and push realitys boundaries. I guess this brings the question of the purpose of life into the discussion. Do we constantly strive for more than whats on offer, to push boudaries, to achive unachivable goals to try and give our lifes significance. If we knew lifes purpose would we be content with it, or would we still strive for more?
