Who Is Mizuki-Manami?(The Truth of how I came to be!)
Hello, My name is Mizuki-Manami, and I an a FullMetal Alchemist fan. I first got into FMA when my best friend ran over to me and screamed into my ear that theres an Anime convention in boston coming up (Anime Boston) and we had to go no matter what. We had less then two months to think up cosplays to wear, (do to the fact that my friend said that we just HAD to cosplay) I googled anime characters around my height (5'2) and came up with Edward Elric, I looked into the anime, read some manga books, showed my friend who fell in love with the character winry and Riza. Then we spent the remainder of our time creating our cosplays, we made three cosplays (Riza, Winry, and Edward) I was edward for the entire convention, and my friend used Winry until we found this really cool mustang on our first day, then for the second day she was Riza, and the last she was Winry. We went for three days, met a really cool Roy Mustang who goes to our school.(hahaha yeah, we found that out when we went to our school's halloween party dressed as Winry and Edward, he went as Roy, it was hilarious, I walked into Him, jumped back wards and pointed at him while saying "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE!?" he said "Hey, aren't you the same shrimp from the convention?". Winry had to hold me back from hitting and possibly killing him) We became a cosplaying group, we have no name yet, and we grew into a small club at my school, its titled "Anime/Manga Club" and every year we take the 15 to 20 students to the Anime boston convention since its the closest, We all wear the same colored shirts for the people who aren't cosplaying, and for the people who are cosplaying we wear tags of that color, or signs...its really fun, until I get lost in the crowd, then they start looking for me and I get confused and go to the closest Roy mustang or Winry thinking that their my friends (that has caused me much trouble, one time I grabed a roy mustang cosplayers shirt and looked up at him, when he turned around he said "KAWAII!" and huged me...I guess I looked cute or like a lost puppy cause he helped me find my group (it sucks being so short))
Any ways we have no real name of our group yet, so if you go to Anime boston and you see alot of people wearing the same colored shirts and sticking in groups
(mostly bright colors) then thats probably my group.
and if your thinking "Why did she pick Edward Elric? there are plenty of other short anime characters" then I must tell you that when I was four, I lost my right arm and left Leg in a car accident, I wear prostetics now, my friend( the Winry cosplayer)'s dad works with prostetics, he made me an arm and leg that looks like automail, thought their hard to balance with, so if you see a limping/wobbly Edward Elric, thats probably me.
Any ways I like FMA, Edward Elric and Roy Mustang are my favorite characters, and I hope to make my twin sister cosplay Al...
PS: I'm dating the Roy Mustang that we(me and my friend) first met at our first convention....>>...Yes, Yaoi moment, I know...
