Since I can't seen to find their profiles where they are supposed to be, I am going to recreate them as best I can here.
Name: Jessen Honeyblade

History: Her mother was a magic user. Her father was a human carrier for the shape shifter gene, passed down active in females, dormant in males. The original shape shifters only had access to original species colors and big predator forms. As evolution proceeded, more forms were available, but it was only in the last century or so that oddities began to crop up. Each female had the ability with one setback and one compensation. For Jessen, the setback is that she can only access feline forms. The compensation is she has access to every color imaginable.
Jessen was born in a seaside hospital close to Gaia's ocean. She was home schooled from day one. Her shape shifting emerged at birth, her magic at puberty. Her family owned a boat, on which they lived, Shadow Paw. Her father's luck ran out when she was about five. He slipped on the deck and hit a fatal blow to his head. After her mother's death at age eight, Jessen ran away into the mountains. There she found a group of technologically advanced monks proficient in Kung Fu. There she spent eight years absorbing the information of grades K-12 (the monks and her thought it best to go back just in case she didn't learn something) and progressing at a fast pace in Kung Fu. By her 16th birthday, Jessen possessed a black belt and everything taught in public school two years ahead of normal kids, seeing as how she was on a different schedule than they were. The day after her sixteenth birthday, she was given her black belt, her leather pouch, two daggers, and a prayer for health and happiness before she was pushed out of the nest into the big wide world. The two daggers are handmade with wavy silver blades, leather encased handles, and the pommels are inset with (one a piece) smooth jade spheres. Her best and only friend is So Silverhoof.

History: So is the black sheep of the Winged Hoof clan, the dappled branch of the western lands. Wild magic affected her when she was still in the womb, turning her colors dark and unlocking a gene dormant in the clan for decades that gave her access to sound magic. She is a music magician, specifically a Piper Mage. She was an almost outcast, forced to live on the fringes and watch but counted on to help with any major problems that arose. Unable to take such treatment anymore, she fled at age seventeen and has been wandering rural Gaia ever since. Her best and only friend is Jessen Honeyblade.
