So here I am in the astronomy tower slacking off of my detention duties....!! Well, detention is boring anyway....Me, James and Peter got into trouble when Professor McGonagall found us sneaking in the kitchen and 'smuggling out' some sweets etc for a private Marauder party we were planning...!
We tried to convince her that we didn't steal the sweets from the kitchen, that the house elves actually gave them to us and they were very persistant too, saying we should definately take them. But everyone knows that this is how house elves are anyway and McGonagall kept on saying that in any case we shouldn't have been in the kitchen and so we had to serve detention. Again. So many detentions! Remus, who wasn't with us because he was studying in the library, is now probably sleeping in his bed.
Because of course, our detention had to be in the astronomy tower, cleaning off the telescope lenses and other devices after the last lesson some third years had. Why should I bother cleaning off the mess some 13 year olds left behind?...
Not that I am cleaning anything after all....! Me and James promised to Peter that we'll let him copy off of our homework for the whole week if he does all the work himself. And of course Peter agreed. Now if Remus finds that out he will start lecturing us about how we take advantage of Peter etc etc etc. Well, I don't know.....After all we WILL be helping him with his homework....so he benefits from that too.
I wish I could go back to the dorm to sleep but if anyone comes up here to check if we are really doing our detention and I'm not here I'll be in trouble. I really hope that no one will decide to check because James decided to grab his broomstick and go of for some after midnight flying over the lake... He said that sitting here and watching Peter working wasn't really that entertaining.
I don't really mind. I would have followed James with my own broomstick but last time I used it to race James we crashed with each other and some twigs were broken and now I need to repair it if I want it to fly properly... I wouldn't like falling off in the lake in the middle of the night because of a defective broomstick.
Hahahaha, this is so funny. I can't believe it. Peter just asked me about Valentine's day and if I have any plans for the day. For a moment I thought he was gonna ask me out...!! OK, notreally...but I had to joke about that. He got mad and threw some stuff at me.
As it seems our little Peter has a crush on some 4th year Hufflepuff girl and he was asking me for advice on how to ask her out. I told him to ask James who knows more about flirting but he told me that since Lilly Evans has rejected James so many times in the past his tactics probably suck, so he had to ask someone else instead.
I'm somewhat flattered. Do I look like such a playboy that Peter would think of asking me for advice on flirting? That's definately interesting!
The truth is, I don't care that much for romance. I prefer having fun with my friends than running behind girls or daydreaming all day about them like our silly James does lately.
I bet that James is gonna ask Lily out again on Valentine's day and he is gonna get rejected once again! Hopeless!! The boy should really give up on her! But we all know James can't take 'no' for an answer!!
Well, speak of thdevil! It seems he got tired of his broomstick ride and decided to come back.
I guess I'm gonna have a ride on his broomstick now to take some fresh air! Sitting here all this time got really boring!
