Most of this stuff is really old.
Don't read it.
I. a.m.

Mom wanted me to start this diary, probably because she wishes I was a girly girl. Too bad she doesn't give two shits about me, I'm glad she can't read this while I'm all the way in the RED base. The woman would probably have a seizure.

Anyway, Dear Diary, here goes.
Took the plane out of Boston to go to New York. When I left for the plane Alex* was almost in tears, so was everyone else, but the most surprising thing was that I never thought such a tough guy like him could cry. It took forever to console him, I promised I'd send him letters, but that didn't do much, he was the best brother to me. I was his teddy bear and pupil, he was almost like the father I never had and my teacher. Mom almost called security, which pissed off Will* quite a bit. I don't even know why she came; she hardly even cared for me. The only thing she did was piss everyone off and give me this retarded diary.
But anyway, the RED team leaders or whatever sent me my outfit in the mail a day before I had to leave, the package had everything I'd need, even a pair of shoes and plane tickets. Speaking of new equipment I got a new bat, a nice aluminum beaut; It's a hell of a lot better than my wooden one that I broke playing baseball with Brandon*. Back to the airport.
They'd sent some blank generic dogtags, but I kept my father's on instead, it's not like there's a difference, and I absolutely refuse to take off his tags now. They were the only thing my mom forgot to throw out when she kicked him out for being 'too soldier-y.' She always has the worst reasons.
But anyway, yeah. I lost the tags once after a few months of wearing them, ugh that was an ugly week. Nearly tore Nick* to pieces after I found out he'd hidden them in the backyard. After that I'd never taken them off, which caused me to get flagged down at the airport while I was on my way to the RED training center. The cops thought I was packing a gun or something so I was tackled and strip-searched in a different room.
******** *****. After almost missing my plane I finally made it to the New York training center, stayed there for a couple of years, and boy was it annoying. I was the only girl in what they called a 'Scout' group, sounds good because I get to run and shoot people, not to mention that I get to use a bat. And apparently I was the 'hottest piece of a** there' according to one of the cockiest bastards in the group. Thanks to the uniform they made us wear I had to ignore all the boners the other guys had. Eugh. Made me get some spandex to put under my shorts to keep their tongues in their mouths.
I just finished training at the Reliable Demolition something or other yesterday, there were a couple of other girls there, but all of them wanted to be Medics. Goddamn wusses; staying behind the lines. What's so bad about going into the frontlines? It's invigorating. So I was stuck in a bunk room full of guys, some of them were rather attractive; must be all the running we do but they were all perverted bastards. Not to say that I wasn't just like them, but at least I didn't flaunt it.
Onto my daily schedule, until now, that is. We had someone ordering us around just like a drill sergeant every day, dawn to ten. We'd wake up, put on all our gear and get our asses out on the field for some obstacle courses and track laps. If you weren't out there by the time everyone else was, not even Jesus and all the Norse gods combined could help you when the coach got you. I never had the horror of experiencing whatever he did to the ones who were late, but they always came back with bruises everywhere; I was first out on the field just so I didn't have to find out what happened behind the coach's closed doors. Apparently I was the best in my group, because I got picked to go on the real team; which made me feel pretty damn good.
I'm on the train as of now; I got the train car all to myself. Nobody wants to sit with a surly girl with a bat. The train's coming to a stop, and it's almost time for me to get off.
More later.
----------------
Okay, so now I'm in some car, in the middle of nowhere after they did this weird testing stuff on me. They injected these 'nanobots' or something into me so I could respawn. Lovely, that means I'm gonna be a ******** zombie if I die out here, in this vast wasteland. The windows in the car are tinted so you can't see much, not that there's anything to see anyways; it's all just a dark haze. Probably for security reasons. Oh well, the driver just told me that we're getting close, so I gotta put this away.
Maybe I might actually get into this diary thing.
