Avatar really was amazing.
The effects and the world, at least.
The story... was pretty much like every Disney movie you've ever seen. I wasn't too impressed with that part. But it's obvious they put a LOT of thought into the Na'vi and Pandora.
A few things I got caught up on though:
There's no oxygen for us to breath, so how was there fire? Or was there just too little oxygen? But then again, the fire would be smaller, or nonexistent.
How did all Na'vi on the planet believe in the same deity? And why is that deity something that they can touch and even see for themselves?
The Na'vi are around twice the size of us humans, so how did they both move easily on Pandora? For the Na'vi to move so quickly with such a great mass, there must be less gravitational pull, or something like that. Unless the Na'vi and humans do have the same mass, but that doesn't seem to be true.
When a human took on their Avatar, their voice sounded exactly the same, which when I think about it makes sense because their Avatar has both Na'vi and human DNA, but the Na'vi also talked like humans, which would mean their vocal chords are incredibly similar, which seems unlikely for a planet so far from ours. They also had a similar language system to ones on Earth (it seemed kind of Asian to me).
Not to mention they didn't even hint at how the Na'vi reproduced. I think the script that's circulating the internet says they have sex by intertwining the nerves in their ponytails, and that could transfer some kind of sperm to some kind of egg (and since there are males and females, I assume they reproduce heterosexually) but how would the baby (and I assume, again razz , that they have childbirth and don't lay eggs because they have nipples) leave their body?

I probably don't know enough to be talking about it like this, but I'm someone who worries about these! XD
