My Matt rant

Okay,why does everybody love Matt from Death Note so much!?I mean,don't get me wrong,I like Matt and I think he's pretty cool,but HE'S ONLY IN THE SERIES FOR ABOUT 10 PANELS OF THE MANGA! Ten panels,says one line("I'm on his side" or something)and then DIES.HE IS A MINOR CHARACTER!I get that he's pretty cool,but HE IS MINOR CHARACTER!In fact the only moment that's really important is when he DIES.He was a cool character,but HE IS A MINOR CHARACTER!!!And,I mean,his name is Mail Jeevas!Where the heck did that come from?!I mean,Mello's name is Mihael Keehl,but compared to name like Mail Jeevas,that's pretty normal!It's no wonder he goes by Matt.Like I said,I like Matt,he's pretty cool,BUT WHAT THE HECK IS WITH THE MATT FANGIRLS!?
