The boy got up, took one look at my uncle, and made a break for it.
"Pathetic," Uncle Vaughn muttered, shaking his head. "Human life may be sacred, but they take that for granted..."
I rolled my eyes. Typical Uncle Vaughn.
"So do you want to explain why exactly I got a call from your principal about a fire?"
I shrugged. "Nope. Not really. I'm sure he can tell you himself." We walked into the office where Uncle Vaughn could see my black eye better.
"Good Lord, Luna! He hit you hard. Are you alright, my dear?" He asked, taking on his motherly tone.
"Peachy, thanks," I muttered irritably.
At that moment, Skylar walked out of the office with a defeated look on her face. Only one word could explain that look...
"Expulsion," She sighed.
Uncle Vaughn went back to trying to look scary and said, "I'll handle this."
Oh great. My hero.
"Go to the car. I'll be out in a moment," He told us, then went into the principal's private office. Me and Sky made our way to the shiny black mercedes waiting out front.
He met us in the car ten minutes later with news. "I hope you troublesome girls are going to enjoy Oak Hill Academy."
