Winter...
Played by the chorus of Hushabye Mountain
Winter's gaze, sets it's eyes upon me.
But spring so close, turns behind me.
As the sun fades, behind clouds grey.
My heart so heavy, turns away.
The snow is falling, settling softly.
The peace of the night, my heart left absently.
Never to see, her face again.
Watching the cardinals, return to their den.
They live in warmth, tightly together.
I sit alone, under the weather.
Summer's warm breeze, gone with the green.
But settles in coldly, with an icy sheen.
The autumn color, buried by snow.
I watched from a distance, as they go.
I know she's gone, but I'm still here.
I await her return, with a tear.
