Sometimes I think I need a translator for you. Not only for your nerd talk (I mean seriously I left home when I was sixteen!) but for how you act, and /how/ you say things. When does "Go away" really mean just that? I dunno, how am I supposed to? If you're acting you deserve an Oscar. I try to see if there is any hesitation or something in your voice but it's hard, so I just stay. If I stay maybe I'll figure things out. Maybe I'll find out how to speak your language. I know you feel me watching you (sounds kind of creepy...) I sit in the nearest chair so you must know. That must be why your frustration grows.
I stand. I just want to get you away from your work for one minute.
You remind me you have an actual job to do (in your cheery way), and refocus seeming to ignore me.
Are you ignoring me though? As I step close you seem to hesitate for a split second, is it annoyance or something else?

It sounds like a warning but I'm not sure, if I could just understand what was in your voice, what was in your mind.
I put a hand on your shoulder and you shrug away though it seems half-hearted. "Are you deaf?"
Not sure I heard you say something before that, I hear you reminding me you have /work/ to do and I lean closer and you quiet...
