Desolation occurs in the mind and shrouds the eyes
But to watch what of no two should be the same,
Become exactly alike.
Transparency clouds even the most open iris, confusing it, blinding it,
And eventually killing it.
Can you comprehend?
The touch of bitter cold upon flesh in the disguise of a soft wind in your farthest memories.
Tilting that glass in mourns of lost happiness
Over those hopeless lips, upon that dying tongue, slipping down the empty throat
Yet you can't seem to understand,
What is so sweet is but the deadliest poison.
Can you feel the pulse of two hearts, two bloods mixing?
His shadow is all that is visible when you look in the reflection of night
Your vision blurs into nothingness
He's taken your life, your soul, your mind.
Yet you smile.
He is but yourself in the most Hellish manner.
The sweetness.
That poison.
Addiction bringing death so slowly
So beautifully.
