Poem for English.
This is the place of my heart.
Here and now, this is my part.
In this glorious planet, we call Earth.
Satisfied inside, with great mirth.
In this place, my heart is glad.
Spring days would never ever make me sad.
These are the colours I yearn to see.
Hot colours, cool, some remind me of the sea.
Every hue is a new colour to me.
Please let me be. Please, let me be.
Let me enjoy this very moment of peace and tranquillity.
And let me enjoy this moment of wonder and beauty
Creator, thank you for this amazing ability.
Every sight, every smell. Living like this, is a dream for/to me.
Oh, this place, it makes me smile.
Flowering plants can be seen for miles.
Mysterious and exotic, each plant seems to be.
Yet stranger and stranger, but that’s alright with me.
Have a heart, care for this land.
Everyone’s here, hand in hand.
Aid this world, let’s be a part.
Refresh this planet, right from the start.
Then this will truly be, the place of my heart.
