My pain hurt all over. Not as bad as Lilith's, probably, I thought. Her pain must be much, much worse. Finally, the pain started to cease. Slowly, the burning parts felt cool. Not normal, but cool. I was glad, because I bet Lilith's pain was almost gone too. Then I began to worry. I was in pain for so long I forgot that she didn't come home for 3 days! What if she's Dead? Mother and Father will blame me for leaving her at school! There was nothing I could do but follow my instincts. I would have to go find her.
