Personality: Matthew doesn't give for the world. Its what makes him a perfect surgeon, "If the patient died, don't fret about it. It happens." He is blunt and doesn't think twice about what he says. His emotions are hard to read because he keeps a perfectly calm facade.
But that doesn't mean he isn't kind. His mother's pure feelings are still in him and make him an angel when he wishes to help. He is patient and does his best to help people comprehend the easy words of medicine.
With his younger sister its a different story. Zelyna is his soft spot. Matthew lost his sister one and won't lose her a second time. Reason to why he is cold to others. He would kill to protect her and her kids.
