1st: OA, wandering around & saw a large group - that was a clue. XD
2nd: after OA, I wandered into Bass'ken to look for regular eggs. I see one user and the corner of the GE hidden by the tree. 2 GEs in a row for me ! biggrin Don't think I got credit for it though. :X
3rd: Gold Beach - near Otami entrance - patrol crew
4th: after Gold Beach's egg, we do Stone Coatl, die, and I wander around near the OA entrance in Beach. I come across a GE that has only a few people at it. I tell my crew, and they dash to it. Didn't get credit though. DX
5th: Otami - Blood Tree - wandering around again
6th: Gold Beach - entrance to OA - 2nd person on the scene. No credit. DX
7th: Village Greens - invite ! XD
8th: Village Greens - wandering around when someone shouts out the location. 5th-ish person on the scene. biggrin
I don't use the GE Location thread 'cause it moves too quickly, and it's easy for a reply/request to get lost in the invite requests. DX I prefer wandering around on my own and coming across the egg by chance. Best feeling ever. heart
When I first started using the thread, it was convenient for location, but I always ended up on the wrong layer. DXX One time it worked out - thanks to Faerie Ishee (sp ?) - and I got there when it had about ~600 HP.
I don't want to add random people for layer hopping either 'cause it'll be a pain to remove myself off their lists. At this moment I only have about 6 zOMG friends (I delete friends after a month or so). XD

So I'm wandering around looking for regular eggs 'cause I want my freaking 1000 Easter egg badge. I have my favorite area to scout - Bass'ken. It just so happens there are more spawns where I look. wink
After I kill an Easter egg on Makeout Rock, a Golden Egg spawns immediately after.
I stare at it, stunned that I happen to be the first on the scene of the rare GE, but then I quickly type out the location in the GE Location thread, and in that time someone else has joined me on the screen .. but he doesn't say anything. XD
Soon after posting the location I shout out in Bass'ken its location and get swamped with whispers for invites.
I spent all my time inviting only to realize I don't get credit once the thing died. STUPiD GOLD LAG/GLiTCH. DX

I wish I took a screenie though. That totally slipped my mind while I was busy trying to get the location out. Tons of people showed up, and in between the massive amounts of chat filling up my box, someone said something along the lines of "person who found this deserves big props." I had to respond to that. wink

To top it all off, I found my last chicky (pirate) earlier today, and after this GE finding I earned my 1000 E.eggs badge. ^____^
TL; DR: I FOUND A GOLDEN EGG (it spawned while I was the only one on the screen), and I alerted everyone. xd
