This week's chapter brings us:
Ichimaru Gin's bankai! O:
With an opening of Isshin and Aizen facing off, and a general display of awesome fighting moves, the chapter progresses to Ichigo facing off against Gin--who, despite all kind of common agreement about himself, calls ICHIGO creepy.
Hmm.
Ichigo explains that he doesn't remember fighting Gin--that he doesn't remember his sword nor his 'heart'--but then says something a bit less clear.
"I don't even know...what I saw."
Is it possible Gin is and has been something OTHER than a shinigami?
With a bankai that can reach 13 kilometers and can cut through buildings as he displays, Gin takes on Ichigo, who is startled, but by the end of the chapter, we see Ichigo unleashing a vicious Getsuga Tensho, assumedly, and Gin having to take the defensive against his attack. Gin's been wounded, but still maintains his smile, finishing the chapter with:
"You really are...a creepy kid."
