I remember those days
The days we would laugh and play
The hours would seem like minutes and pass so fast
But where did the time go?

You're gone and you've left me here...alone
I know you didn't mean to
And I know your intentions were good
But why did you take my heart when you left?
Though now I'm left as nothing...

Just as a shell
Cobwebs begin to form where my heart once was
And thy soul begins to die with each web
Leaving me as an empty spider's web nest

Watch how my skin shimmers in the light
That light was your smile,your laugh, your everything
But see how my body breaks and tears from the rain.
Each drop that drips is your sadness, the pain, the sorrow

Though I know things will get better
Cause this hope of mine will go on forever
