Imma force the community band director- aka, my music theory teacher/wind ensemble director/friendly... nemesis?- to give us some Wagner to play this summer.
I shall say "Yo, Mr. S., no Wagner, no bassoonist." Given the fact taht I'm his only bassoonist.
This is my plan. I know it won't work.
I know his exact response:
"That's fine, we'll have a trombone cover it. *grin*"
He is a trombone supremacist. It's not fair.
