Favorites. My mom always plays favorites with my brother. And when ever you point it out she gets pissed off beyond reason. Like today. My brother is at a party while the house is a mess. I have school at 9 and Im not cleaning it up for him. I think it's stupid that I have to cover for him again. And Im not going to. She lets him drink, smoke, smoke pot, lie, steal and do a whole bunch of things when she would have kicked my a and sent me away to a European convent to live in if I pulled half of the stuff he did at his age. I mean I bought myself a phone at 14 with my OWN money that I saved up from babysitting. She grounded me for months. Ask my best friend Krystal. She was there when my mom snapped st over a cell phone. She does this all the time with him its not fair to me.

It's true! Still can't believe your Mom did that, though it was amusing when she realized she couldn't take your phone away and how wrong she was about the subject xp

I get the guilt trip any time I point out favoritism with my Mom so...maybe just ignore it and be like you're the one helping him screw up his life by not putting up any guide lines or boundaries for him. Though it's likely she feels incredibly guilty for what happened to your brother that you mentioned when you had all that family drama back when you were the epic college kid cool
