Largo was actuall the first of his kind, the experiments were enitually meant to replace Captains in case of death, which is why he resembles Daisuke, he was created in his image, there were 12 others after him that were based off of the 13 but they were never successful then after many more ment and the others were made Largo as he was called was tasked with looking after them like a big brother, which is still how he treats them,after they were awoken He dissappeared temperarily to asses the new world they had awaken into.
