The worst

I fear the worst has happened.
I fear the worst has happened.
My soul's lost, my heart's broken,
and
I am falling apart
from the inside out.
I can't put myself back together
when there's no glue,
I can't hold on
when there's no ledge.
I can't breath
when there's no air.
I can't feel
when there's no one to love.

The worst has happened and its only the beginning.
The train of horrors continues to grow as the day wears on.
My worst fears have come to light.
Voices of mocking understanding whisper in my ear.
I am lost inside the dark without you
and I can't find my way back.

Without a guide and without a soul I'll wander.
The black and white wings I used to see have all disappeared.
There's no angels, there's no demons, there's nothing here to keep me sane.
I won't listen anymore
I'll toss myself further in and hope I am ripped apart.
Fear is mine greatest enemy.

My heart is weak and my eyes are blind
My ears are deaf and my cries are fatal.
My wounds are deep and my soul is empty.

I carry on day to day, wondering where you are.
My heart beats weakly if only for you.
I've all but lost my touch for your skin against mine own.
Won't you just give me this one last time?
