A little boy.
Just sitting on a swing.
Nobody's around.
It's the end of spring.
He stares at the ground.
Everyone has left.
No words come out.
A tear hits his chest.
The little boy tries
but he can't even smile.
From a young boy he was,
we see he's just a child.
The little boy closes his eyes.
Flashbacks to before.
Before everyone fled.
Before his personal war.
One last plea.
He has no self-esteem.
He looks at his phone
and what is written on the screen.
"Remember I love you"
is whats said on his phone.
For a split-second,
he feels at home.
But it goes away quickly,
and reality comes along.
His phone now reads,
"Just move on ".
A little boy.
On a swing crying.
He may not have moved on.
But he is trying.
