* BP is refusing to stop using the dispersant they are using. it's banned in Britain, may not me effective, and is probably worsening the impact. Apparently there is no way to stop them. WTF?!?

* I had been wondering why they can't drill the relief well simultaneous to the main well, since it takes, like three months to drill both. Then the relief well would be ready in case of emergency. It turns out The Canadians require that for off shore drilling off their coast. it's not too expensive or unfeasable, it's just too many of our congress folk are paid for by big oil. *facepalm*
