Poetry, my life, my writing. You know, all that good stuff.
Puberty
By Autumn Scott

This isn't one of those know-it-all books that tells you how to deal with puberty, a stupid guide, or one of those boring essays about what puberty means. This isn't about your girlie periods, or your manly changes "downstairs", or about the hair growing on your chest and above your upper lip. This isn't scientific, or rational, and this might not even make any sense to you. What it this is, though, is how I dealt with puberty. Well, more like how I am dealing with it now. It's how I am going to b***h and moan and complain, deal and learn and grow, maybe even rationalize myself into adulthood. It is the painful transition from girl to woman. This is puberty. Basically, my diary. Puberty from my point of view.

Did that make any sense to you? Because it did to me. My point of view while I'm going into puberty, and growing out of it would probably be the best way to say "puberty from my point of view." But things like this, thoughts, words, sentences are randomly going to pop up like that, and confuse you while they make a lot of sense to me. So you are going to have to cope, leave, or learn from me. (Haha! Another one. Best way to say it: or learn to understand how I see things, or learn how to understand my language. Whatever. You pick.) 'Cause I'm not explaining each and every one of my confusing sentences. Get it? Got it? Good.

Now, I don't know how much different my life is from everybody else's. Probably because I only live my own life, and not others'. So I'm going to explain my own life to you. I mean, I'm pretty sure no one has a perfect family with perfect friends and a perfect life, so I'm pretty damn sure that mine can't be that... much... different? Okay, so not so sure on how different, but I will let you decide that for yourself.

So, a little backround on me. I'm thirteen years old, I used to be a straight A student, starting hanging out with people that I actually can be myself around, started to get mostly C's... I have musical and artsy talents, and I can say that with full confidence because even people who hate me say I can draw really well and that I have a great voice and am very talented in that area. Neon colors and unique color combinations really draw me in, and I go to singing lessons every Tuesday, which really aren't singing lessons because really, my singing teacher is my therapist, just nobody besides me and her know that.
