The day I saw my daddy break down
and toss away his heart into the sea.
That was day I realized those who are hurt,
are the once who do the hurting.
I could not ask for bedtime stories,
or a simple kiss goodnight.
They were lost upon me.
And dreams could not shine anymore brightly.
