Flittering lights and noise come from a town just below a hill rise on the edge of a forest. Rie steps out from behind the trees and into the open with a smile forming on his face.
"Finally, i thought i'd never get out of there"
He glanced back at the forest and sighed and then made his was down the hill.
Jay better of be right about this Esi person. I grow weaker as i delay...
A brush from nearby interupts his thoughts as he quickly takes a fighting stance
Nothing is heard for a moment...
He slowly makes his way toward the brush cupping his hand behind his back. A small orb of energy forms in a dark mist.
"Hello?"
He checks behind him and then back... a light sigh escapes his lips. He lets the energy fade into the wind and kneels down slowly with a smile
"How do you do child?"
He looked down to a small child holding her hands up to her face in fear. She peaked through her hands every now and then to see if Rie had gone with her amber colored eyes. Her hair was a crimson red and flowed swiftly in the wind. It was no doubt this child was indeed from the town.
"It's alright i'm not going to hurt you"
Rie held out his hand and the child looked at him. No words escaped her mouth nor did she attempt to speak. She just pointed out the cut on her arm and then pointed to the town
Poor child. Why is she out here alone?
He smiled and took her hand lifting her up and walked with her back down to the town. The girl didn't complain or fuss at all... she simply walked with him.
During the walk Rie glanced down to her to see if she was looking at him or around for someone she might of known.
Nothing...
This worries me
He looked around the area again to see if anyone was out with this child at all.
There is no purpose for her to be out here
"Oh, but there is Rie..."
A smirk grew across the little girls face. Rie tried to jerk away his grip but she only grasped harder. He couldn't fade to mist for some reason, something else had a hold on him in another way. Slowly the girl looked up at him.
"There is..."
Rie looked down to her and she looked right at him with bright yellow eyes.
