Confused by the way you act.
No meaning for what's been done.
A change of heart or a change of pace,
past problems have been undone.
"I don't know" isn't an answer.
I'm trying my best not to rush.
My feelings once overjoyed,
now seemed to have been crushed.
The way things have played out,
in my mind and outloud are conflicting.
My heart's pieces were put back together,
but there's still one piece missing.
Slow and steady wins the race,
so I'll take it at that speed.
No matter what emotions
that will get ahead of me.
