I don't have a fancy nick-name
I don't have an amazing status
I don't have a picky attitude
I don't have everything
I don't have someone to love
I don't have siblings
I don't have lots of money

I am me

I have the clothes on my back
I have friends that are my sisters
I don't need a boyfriend to be happy
I have nothing and I'm okay with that
I have a happy-go-lucky attitude
I stand in the shadows but I'm seen
I have a name that is recognized

I am Me.

I wouldn't want to be anyone else.
