An Angel's Redemption
(This is just a segment of last night's dream. It takes place at the park with a beach and there was a gathering for the vampires that ruled over me. Just so you know, I'm not human, I'm not a vampire, but something inbetween, yet something else. )

The person running the music for the gathering was in the playgrounds box thing. It didn't have walls, but it had the border of the box. He couldn't be seen, he wasn't human, he was different kind of creature that just wasn't visible by the naked eye. A few o the vampires that were at the gathering were picking on him. I don't remember his name. The vampires were childish, they threw rocks, and poked at the air with sticks trying to find out who can find where in the walless box. One of the stone struck target, "Enough! Can he just do his job?! Leave him alone!" I said, shoving the vampires away from the box. "Are you okay?" I asked turning to the empty box. "I'm fine," A scared, thankless, voice said. Suddenly, dark smoke and ooze started to bubbled and orm in the corner o the box.

A tall, pale skrawny young male, formed from the ooze. His hair was long and as black as pitch, He body so thin, and pale as if he never seen sunlight and food wasn't a word in his vocabulary. My heart sped up at the sight of him, I've never seen anything like him. He looked so pathetic, but so amazing at the same time. He was so horrifitying, and so beautiful. Then suddenly like he was in unbareable pain he turned his back to me and held tight to the only wall of the box. Then the back his too large, too loose black shirt started to shred, like it was eating itself. Marking were scratched into his back. Between the shoulder blades a blood red cross, and wings of black ooze as thick as tar, spread from the upper corners of the cross, An X that was ash colored resided just over the cross. My heart dropped at the sight.

No, NO! That wasn't fair. He looked so cool, how can this happen? That's just not fair.

I didn't know if he was one or possessed by one, but those were the markings of a fallen angel, one that had fallen so far that he was no longer considered one. Only the angel's target could see those markings, and I was the target. His one last chance at redemption was to kill me. And I just saved him from the vampires' cruel game on him. I wanted to cry, but I couldn't, my eyes wanted to cry but they were dry. I couldn't cry, I wasn't the kind of . . . creature that could.

He cringed against the box wall, the markings caused him pain, and wanted it to stop. Tar like ooze splirted from the wings. He turned to me, his pain visible in his face. He was sorry for having to kill me, expecially after the kindness I showed, after I saved him from the vampires. I coulnd't believe it, it was so unfair, but I ran, and he chased. I didn't want to die, and if I was going to die, I didn't want this poor creature to be the one to do it. I jumped intot the air and took flight. I could feel wings spread from my back and the force of them flapping, but the wings couldn't be seen. He looked up at me pathetically, as the black tar-like ooze exploded from his back inthe form of stringy wings, the look of eagel wings without feathers and black paint poured over it. He shot into the air, ooze sprayed everywhere like rain in large black globs. Black ooze leaked from his eyes as tears while he cried in pain, and sorrow. I couldn't believe he was being forced to do this. But I flew, I ducked, dived, weaved through and around houses, telephones and trees. The poor guy could barely keep up, he bounced off the walls, grazed the poles, and finally crashed into a large tree and got tangled in it's branches. He didn't make a sound, and I stopped and turned around. His wings looked like they were melting, and his body started to fall apart in tar. He couldn't pull himself from the branches. Eventually I was able to save him from the tree dispite his mission, and panically tried to put him back together. That didn't go so well, but he gave up trying to continued his mission due to me saving him twice, just to condem him to die as black muck. He stayed with me though. He stuck around me, knowing if he just killed me he could be saved, but he stopped trying.

Later I was attacked by vampires for not being a full vampire, for being something I didn't know what. It was then he was finished off, fully melted into black ooze and smoke. I wish it could have been different.

(and that was just a part of my dream. Imagen what the rest of the dream was.)
